Staging An Intervention (College Health Guru)

A professor, who is the program coordinator, along with the associate Dean held an intervention for me. It was every cliche in the book. They called me in for a meeting, & it started it out cool; then they told me they feel I have problems, & that I need to go into counseling. If I didnt go I would be kicked out. I bursted into tears, was angry, & all that. They were worried about my mental health & thats what the intervention was for. It didnt work out & the Head Dean forced me to withdraw.

I would hope that an enlightened interventionist would be willing to entertain other options for treatment instead of presenting 12-step as the only way.

I havea friend in mind. mostly because im friends of the fam and im the oldest friend and dont want to be blamed as the contributor, since hes under age. All of us as friends agree he needs help. but no one wants to make that step to his family.....should I?
