Lyle Lovett and His Large Band is one of the few musical acts out there worth every cent charged for a ticket. I'd gladly pay to see him again as I did in Chicago years ago.
Wow! ... and the blinking of the guitar, like the sparkles on the water where he drives his boat & rides the pony ... Strangely enough, this boat & pony picture reminds me of Federico Garcia-Lorca ... Thanks for posting this video!
i love this song its amazing

captures my childhood loves of ponies and boats and my grown up loves of men who can write and sing...

I sat there in the front row during a Andrew Peterson concert and saw Phil Keaggy as well!

Is that Buddy Miller on electric guitar to Lyle's right?

Lyle Lovett is a real American treasure...one of the last true original song writers left riding in a sea of imitators...
Wow...that was deep...:>)

Lyle knows how to weave a little magic into his songs. He takes you to the places he sings about. Enchanting :-)

The random electric/steel guitar wailing behind Lyle sounds unbelievable. Nothing is overdone, nothing is overbearing - it's legitimately PERFECT.
