I received my Gohonzon on Gohonzon's birthdate of 12 October last year. It makes me cry when I see the destruction of this magnificent structure but I can keep it in my heart.

Both Ikeda and Nikken are to blame, but ultimatly, Ikeda was pushing the secret doctrine behind closed doors, that he was greater then Nichiren. Nikken just copied Ikeda. They both twisted Nichiren Daishonin's buddhism and their ugly result was destruction and dismay.

Nope, Ikeda never did that. He always stress do not worship him, he is just lead by example based on the teaching of Nichiren. He also to point out the priest errors (based on Nichiren teachings of compassion to point out errors even it is not committed by oneself).
