@manuelcas22 CN killed Toonami because they hated anime, and that's almost all Toonami was showing at the end. They went so far as to, as you said, cancel Naruto, which was absolutely their most watched show BY FAR. Also, Adult Swim never replaced Toonami. They tried a few times, but it wasn't the same. Now AS only airs new episodes of TWO anime. And, you're thinking of Code Lyoko. That was on Miguzi. I love Code Lyoko, but it isn't a Toonami show. :3

@Shea354 That's not rely true. First, when Toonami started, the only anime on it was Voltron. And Toonami got consistently better as time went on. Even the move to Saturday was handled well, as there was 3 days worth of Toonami in one night and the later hours meant they could get away with some more mature things (Naruto was almost completely uncensored and they swore in IGPX). No, things only started getting bad once CN decided to shorten it by by 60% AND not license any new shows for them.

TOM 3 was the best, bringing us DBGT and DBZ, IGPX and more. Man...Toonami..Now that I think about it, me along with a whole lot of other people would probably never have gotten into anime if we didn't have it. I remember coming home from elementary school and watching Dragon Ball Z, Tenchi Muyo, and Batman Beyond, and all the other awesome shows they had. While it did start to suck around the time there was the new YuGiOh shows came on, it was still a nostalgic name. In 2007, when the Aqua Teen movie came out, CN put up these light up Mooninites as viral ads. Someone thought it was a bomb and SWAT got called in. It was really embarrassing to CN, so Samples didn't have much of a choice but to step down. Look it up if you wanna know more. Search for the 2007 Boston Mooninite Scare.
