  • Australia has the best semis on the planet along with new zealand...but they also have the biggest asspains in the world as turning must be a mofo!

  • yes this is true, but New Zealand has a limit on the length allowed for its trucks, so turning isn't much of a problem

  • Considering the size of this behemoth, it accelerates pretty quickly. Must have much more power than a traditional tractor trailer.

  • not so. most truck engines made after 2006 have much better acceleration than older ones. also, the truck is most likely empty, making for that extra added speed.

  • im guessing 550 and optimised gearing

  • That is HUGE! Damn how about i f he has to do reverse??

  • thats dumb !

  • Yeh We Work At MKR Transport at Perth here In Auzzie

  • I was involved in the landscaping of direct freight in sydney at chester hill many years ago as an apprentice and 6 years later Im driving a semi. I always wanted to drive one.

  • are they still at chester hill? pretty local to me indeed, i want to drive one but no way in hell am i ever going to get a chance!! haha

    good on ya buddy,,

  • Not sure if there still there I would say they would be, it was a pretty big place. I thought the same thing I thought I would never get the chance but you have to keep at it, its hard they want experience but how are you meant to get it, if no one will put you on because you have none. I was looking for 3 months and ended up doing work experience with a company which helped, I sat in the passenger seat and just watched how it was done. :)

  • Here in Oklahoma at UPS, we pull tripple 28 footers(pups) or doubble 48-53 footers. They pull them with sing cab single axle mack ch700s or International 9200 with an ISX 385 cummins. The seem to pull very well although that last trailer with the tripples can have a mind of its own.

  • Dude, WTF are u even talking about. Your just trying to act cool like u know alot about this crap lol

  • wat kind of monster is pulling that b-triple?
