the best thing about this genre is that you can improvise as much as you want and it will sound good...you can put a lot of feeling. Very nice cover man! I liked the spin you put on it. Keeping the same basic structure but adding your own flair was nice. Only thing I would say is to make sure you keep time and rhythm a little more consistant. High e strings sound a little out of tune. I really, really, enjoyed this cover. Great job, good playing, and keep it up!

Glad you're enjoying playing it but it's not very much like the real song. Your right hand is far to slow (just like mine :P) and therefore you play to fast with the left one. I think we have to grow long nails on the right hand, like Butler, to achive that speed and perform a good cover. Trying that without nails will destroy your fingertops. Tapping is good tough but then ther's not much flow or feeling for me, sorry mate

In my opinion a cover is supposed to represent your own interpretation of the song and that is what I try to do when I play ocean. I agree that I did play the "fast part" a little faster than usual (partly because I was nervous) but playing with speed is how I love to play that part. So I will take the constructive criticism and work with it but this is just how I like to play the song so I think you all should know that.

It is definitely an incredible cover, congrats. the only thing i think is the bass on your guitar is too loud. so you couldn't hear the high notes at the fast part. i thought the speed was fine though. excellent finger work also!!! get that bass down and you'll be set.
