As a fellow Canadian, it really pees me off that even the drugstore makeup is sometimes double the price. I finally broke down and bought Naked 1 palette because i am on a makeup binge and i figure if i can spend $10. or more on a drugstore quad. It really doesn't cost any more. I just bought the naked palette and I really loved this tutorial! I have to agree with you about the whole college thing. After freshmen year/sophomore I was more concerned about my studies than how I looked. During my first year and the first part on my sophomore year I would always come to school with full makeup and hair styled. I really didn't care after that. I've totally gone to school looking like a bum as well, wearing sweats and whatever else that was comfortable!

I agree. I'm in my second year in University, and I'm in my first year in my degree program, and I'm ALSO a single mother. I dress like a slum most days - greasy hair, mascara and eyeliner. THAT'S ALL. I can't afford anymore time in the morning. About 90% of my time goes to making sure my kid is dressed, fed, and cleaned. I bought the naked palette hoping I will have enough time to swipe maybe one color and a highlight on!!! Crossing my fingers! LOL.

I love this neutral look! I also totally agree with you about the college thing! In highschool, there was never a day that I went to school without makeup on. Then in college, I wore makeup for the first month or so....but after that, I would just roll out of bed and be out the door lol.

Honestly the best tutorial with the naked palette I have seen! I really love the colors in this palette-you can do tones of different looks with them but I've been watching some tutorials featuring it and I was so frustrated just because of the way people used the colors... I can take it anywhere and I know I'll have everything I need for a basic look......plus the value is unbelievable I had one of the Too Faced neutral palettes and when compared to this ....it only makes sense to go for it. The size and amount of the shadows you get alone takes out the Too Faced palette...not too mention 2 liner colors and a primer.... :) thanks so much!
