  • Jesus christ man that was huge

  • What weenie!!!

  • my doctor said "let me know if you feel like you're gonna faint". I wish i had fainted :P

  • Haven't been able to breath out of my nose for about 4-5 years and finally getting the septoplasty done in December. I dont' care how painful or nasty the video looks, I"m still looking forward to breathing out of my nose again, lol. Thanks for posting the vid and info.

  • is your nose a different shape when its fixed ?

  • Junebug, I was the same way. The stents just get really agitating!!

  • HOW DO YOU GET THIS ,HOW THIS HAPPENS??

  • I agree, i've done the surgery on friday, today is my first day out of hospital. It's such a disgusting feeling when these huge plugs are removed. I had 4 of them in total inside. I'm glad now they were removed.

  • @harharthatsdays it's simple. Don't break ur nose or do any damage to it that will cause you to have surgery.

  • or what not to do to get this ;(

  • what does someone need to do to avoid this?!?!?!?!?

  • Holy fuck what was that? and what is this surgery for?

  • not looking forward to getting those taking out on wednesday..

  • @candykiss620 it really did not hurt so much as it was uncomfortable...I was dizzy for a few hours after they came out and the daily nose washing kinda sucked but all in all it was cool...looks worst than it was...

  • @candykiss620

how did it go? I was told by ENT a couple years ago that I have a deviated septum, but I wouldn't be able to get surgery till at least 21 because at the time he told me I was still growing. I am 19 now so, a couple more years, but I am starting to get worried.

  • Did you have a septoplasty? Were those the straws they put there for you to breathe with? I'm getting a septoplasty and turbinoplasty Monday morning (2 days away)... Jeeze those were huge! I hope I don't have to deal with that the day after surgery.. Wow.

  • @xdunlapx yup thats what i had done...lol you will be fine, i was out when they were put in anyway...

  • sounds like alot of steriotypical racist fucks out there think all us black people have 'bags' of coke up our nostrils?? riiight...

  • @gridsinister yup you know how it is

  • WOW GOD DAMN!!!

  • @pantopantalones lol thats what i said..

  • Those were objects emplaced in his nasal cavities for the sake of maintaining the structure of that area which was teh purpose of the surgery, and were to be removed only after a certain amount of time had passed, lest the surgery be pointless.

  • i just had this operation this morning, it sucks!

  • lol, with a small knife in the nose, SNEESE! ;p

  • What the heck was that? Remodeling supports?

  • looks like cave man

  • i was like O.O

  • two bags of coke coming out

  • coke comes in bags now?

  • I had a nose job when I was 19 all I wanted was the bump to ba taken out the surgen said my nose was slightly bent so he corrected that to. However since then I can't breath it's like I've got a cold all the time I also noticed my skin around the eyes have got darker and when I play sports I spit alot. I went to a differnt Dr and they said my Septal is blocking part of my nose and they have booked me in for a septal op due soon. Does it work?

  • What I had was a deviated septum which I am sure was the result of an injury of some sort in the past. The only reason I went to the doctor was because sometimes I would get random nose bleeds or if I rubbed my nose too hard it would bleed. To answer your question does it work? With the right doctor yes, I have not had a nose bleed since. I did not notice too much of a change in breathing better since that was not my original problem.

  • Did you re injure it since the first surgery? Why would it have to be worked on again?

  • @junebug907 No I had plastic surgery but I think he centred my bone with my face rather then my nassal passages.

  • @amba060 why did you get a nose job at just 19. Should of waited till around 21 as youre not fully grown yet.

  • I also have BCBS and I want to have this surgery done but I have no idea if it covers it.

  • Hey man I need this done the only thing is that I am worried about the cost. I have BCBS insurance. How much did you pay and what insurance do you have if you don't mind me asking.

  • I had BCBS and only paid my co pays. I am sure our policies are different though.

  • im getting a septoplasty on march 16th i have never known what its like to breathe out of both nostrils! can you tell the difference? im also getting my tonsils and adenoids out the same day im gonna be in soooooooooo much pain and its spring break :(

  • so how did it go?

  • let me see we have some coke residue, some black tar heroin, and some car-keys and a stolen wallet up your honker, thats why your having trouble snorting.

  • I guess there are retards everywhere.

  • ahhhhhhhh that looks so scary!!!

  • lol it was def uncomfortable...looks like an alien right!!!???

  • LOL yes it does! But what I'm more scared of is how much that must have hurt! I'm going to have to get surgery for my deviated septum too and seeing this vid definitely doesn't make me look forward to it!

  • believe or not i dont recall any of it hurting...it was mainly just uncomfortable...but WELL worth it...

  • ahahahahahah........

  • i get my splints out tomorrow, he had me wait 5 days after. Looks like you were in a lot of pain. I hope mine isn't that bad.

  • you had to have that in your nose for 5 days??!!

  • wat isz disz for?

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh im seeing my gp next week about a derivative septum and this is offputting

  • so did you go?

  • dude you seem to be reborn after the doc takes them out. I felt like I was the one sitting on that chair!!

  • lol I hear ya man...i was miserable before they came out..

  • GET YOUR ASS TO MARS!!!

    watch?v=53ARrp7x4bQ

  • hey dude how long did you have to wait to get the splints taken out? because i had my surgery last Monday and I'm wondering when it will be taken out. A week?

  • Ahhh.. I hope so :\ im really scared now haha..

  • omg, im having a Septoplasty in like 2 weeks.. after seeing this i am absolutly crapping myself :\ .. i was kicked when i was younger by my sister in the nose, so for about 10 years ive lived with only being able to breath through 1 side of my nose.. did it hurt much?? :(

  • overall it was fine...the hardest part were the splints in my nose but even that was not that bad...you will be fine, it looks worse than it really is...

  • hey im thinking getting this done, i dont think ive ever been able to breathe through the left side of my nose before and can through my right a bit, how much difference does it make afterwards when coming to breathing? i have to breathe through my mouth alot haha.

  • omfg, must of felt awsome when it was out! i would think it felt as good as an orgasm haha

  • haha

  • I didn't know I had a deviated septum until the doctor looked in my nose and told me. I went because I could not figure out why my nose kept bleeding. I fight so I was sure that had something to do with it. But did not know I had a deviated septum.

  • damn!!! that was painful to watch man!

Im pretty sure i have a deviated septum...coz up untill a few months ago i never used 2 get nose bleeds.. and now they are pretty frequent...

there is wat seems to be a "dent" in my septum... is that what yours was like??

i think it happened while i was playing under 19's aussie rules football last year.. most players where 4 to 5 years older than me and a fair bit more built.. and in my last game i took a pretty bad hit to my nose for being a bit cocky :/

  • I just had this surgery last week. It really is amazing how much crap they manage to fit up your nose. I'm surprised they took the splints out so soon after surgery!

  • Yeah but the one night they had to stay in was one miserable night....

  • That didnt happen to me after mine...

  • Wad Is Tat???

    PLastic?

  • yup...plastic splints...it sucked!!!

  • ouuch!

  • i just found out i have a deviated septum after spending my whole life with it.

i just cant believe i thought breathing in one nostril was normal

  • yeah its crazy...even though i am sure boxing did not help, its crazy to think that breathing can be better...i can truly tell the difference...

  • Hi. Thanks for sharing this with us.

I had an accident a few years ago, and as a result I have a slightly deviated septum that is visually noticeable. It does not really interfere with my breathing, but when I take a deep breath in, the right nostril hardly moves, which means there is blockage in the way. I am thinking about having Septoplasty. Do you advise me to do it?? Tomorrow I'm seeing a doctor in this regard.

Hope to hear from you soon. Thanx!

  • Just came back from the g.p because my nose is really bent he said I could either get a septoplasty now or wait to i'm 18 because your face grows over time

  • Hi tom8fallon8. If you're below 18, then maybe you'd better wait cuz as the GP said, your face grows and you may go under the knife for nothing. Personally, I'm planning to have it after 10 days, when the plastic surgeon is back because he traveled to attend an event somewhere. Looking forward to it.

  • hey im sorry for the delay...i had some computer problems...the main reason i had the surgery was because of the unplanned bleeding episodes...i could be in a public place or simply doing nothing and my nose would start to bleed...or i could blow my nose or rub my nose and it would start to bleed...you really could not tell just by looking at it that i had a deviated septum...i was very worried before but this surgery has become a simple out patient procedure...if it is just cosmetic i dont know

  • look up empty nose syndrome and atrophic rhinitis, dont trust the ent doctors. they can really hurt you witj turbinate surgery.

  • Will I have to have that i'm getting something like that done omg i'm scared shitless.

  • ya know its weird...some people that have had it say they didnt have the splints in...others say they only have gauge....i liked the splints because it keeps the cartilage shaped correctly

  • I just got my septoplasty early this morning. I woke up in the hospital extremely dizzy about an hour n a half later. After memory that I had surgery got back to me, the first thing i wanted to know was whether i had these nose splints. Omg, I am so lucky the doctor didn't use them. wow. They look pretty scary. LoLX

  • yeah it SUCKED...but I am soooooo glad I did it

  • do you get blackeyes after you have this done and do you have to have a plaster on it plz reply

  • well being that i am a black guy i always have black eyes lol...sorry i could not resist...from what i could tell there was no racoon effect or anything of the sort...i needed no more surgeries afterwards....once the splints came out that was it...it took me about 6 months to get back into full contact sport capability...

  • i probably shouldn't have watched this haha. i had my septum fixed last monday and tomorrow i get this stuff out . ouch man

  • Man I feel your pain I had the same thing done to me 5 years ago. That packing is a bitch ain't it? I had the plastic stints stitches and packing. The stitches and stints were a breeze but the packing was the worst part! Worth it? For me absolutely because I was born with a moderate to severe deviated septum. Breathing is so much better---a HUGE difference! Hope it was the same for you. Did they have you hopped up on Percocet like I did? What a wonderful drug :)

  • guaze

  • im guessing mine was good it only took 15 mins haha. im still all blocked up its horrible.

  • do you have the splints or the gauze

  • i just had that op done. OUCH

  • Yeah big ouch...but I had a great doctor and it was well worth it...I feel your pain!!

  • Did you get the uh.. sort of nose tonsils thingies removed? I had that done yesterday.. need the tampons removed tomorrow. Ouuuuch.

  • I didnt have the tampoons I had those spints...the splint things were suppose to be better because it allowed you to breath

  • You think thats bad. Wait till your nose gets filled up with dried up blood thats hard as a rock and you can barely breathe, so you have to constantly rinse your nose out with saline like 5 times a day until you can breathe.

  • i had a septoplasmy done, i was put under the op was only 25mins. what the hell is he taking out of your nose?? my doctor never took anything out like that, all he did was shave teh septum down where it was deveated.

  • NASTY

  • Did your surgery happen while you were awake?

  • I was put under...

  • what was that? what kind of disease is that.

  • its not a disease

  • i had this and yes sir i feel your pain lol

  • Ha ha ha aha ha aha ah, I can't stop laughing this dude is so funny

  • lol glad i could be your entertainment lol

  • oh im so not looking forward to my septoplasty now.

  • when is it?mine is 17 february....

  • OH MY GOD ME EITHER!

  • I have these in my nose right now, I had my procedure this morning and I get them out this coming Thursday. Do they hurt when they come out?
