  • bikes are dangerous ...... i still want one

  • fun vid!

  • @FG91CBR Thanks, I aim to please ;-)

  • That was fun to see.

  • Wow, how are ya? I havnt seen you around for ages, welcome back ;-)

  • Thanks Robin, Doing good. Work is keeping me busy these days. Sorry for not keeping in touch. I think about you from time to time. Glad you're doing well.

  • What a cool video! ORiginal idea man. Chopper eye view, good call! At least you weren't driving when you fell! That could have been ugly!

  • Thanks for stopping by Kronc, yeh i was happy my first fall was nothing bad, well bad only for my ego ;-)

  • Great footage, seems you got to have your wits about you, im just learning but i noticed all the road markings are the same as over here.

    : )

  • Yep all the same signs / markings, all the roads were built by the british when they took over 112years ago. So when i commute between here and the UK i dont notice the difference, except theres more Asian drivers here ;-)

  • That guy cutting in on you at about 35 seconds in, I'd be introducing the steel cap boots to his rear lights! I can understand, in a way, what with HK being much more crowded than here but when someone here does it when there's plenty of room for all and a lot less traffic, it's booting time. I love it!

I found another great way of keeping some drivers in check, stare right at them and point! Scares most people who were thinking about cutting in into NOT cutting in :)

  • Hahaha this is actually hilarious! I could watch it again and again. I love the music paired with the hectic HK atmosphere

  • Thanks dude, yeh, i like this little clipped-together video too, good excersise for the eyes ;-) The song is from when i was in college 15 yrs ago ;-)

  • hope your bike is ok, that was a fun little vid, now i've got to watch the rest of yours............

  • Thanks tat2, i only scraped the chrome on the clutch handle, and bruised my leg for about a week ;-) As i lay on the floor i was still laughing, you can see a man standing next to me (who dosnt help!) watching me, the crazy white guy lying on the floor laughing ;-)

  • wow great footage.. I still want a motorbike even people say its dangerous though :P

  • Thanks so much for the comment, If you want something, get it, lifes to short to not do the right thing ;-)

  • Been awhile since I've been to Hong Kong.....to be honest.....I don't miss it much. But I like the video.

  • Thx dude, appreciated ;-)

  • @13mordeth hehe i just watch 1 ur vids than saw ur comment here lol

  • Hey man, nice vid. Looks like a crazy place to ride around haha

  • Nice annotation you added, was just what i was thinking on that day..!! THX dude.....

  • I`m sorry you dropped your bike and i have to be honest, i laughed alot, sorry :-P

  • Is ok, i suppose thats why i posted it, is just too silly not to be shared.

  • Hi Robin, nice vid bits ,they really are refreshing takes my mind to other places!

We've all dropped our bikes, I had a Triumph tiger that I lost count on the number of times! It was never damaged & I was only squashed once! Keep safe & keep the vids comming, they're like mini holidays!!! J

  • Thanks J , Good to know im not the only one........... Check ya inbox ;-)

  • A biker's lot is quite something anyway but in Hong Kong it looks like something from a video game except it's NOT! I loved the wonky bit at the beginning - was that heat, special effects or would you rather not talk about it! ALWAYS a pleasure to ride pillion with you, Robin thank you for taking us for a ride! Take care, you're a great Youtube friend (I mean, LOOK at the company you keep!!!)

  • lol, thanks SuzqQ, the wonkyness is due to the vibration of the v-twin making the camera shake on a molecular level ;-) Officially im not allowed a pillion until i've had my bike licence a year first, but you can consider it a free preview of when i can get my GF out with me, then i bet the videos will get more interesting !! Picnics and all ;-)

  • Thanks for sharing this Robin, the views of Hong Kong are very exotic to me, especially from a motorbike perspective- yikes the fall, glad it wasn't any worse than that, but scary to imagine thats what it would look like to fall, for example... hope you are fine. BBW

  • Now i have a new perspective on falling off, this silly little fall made me limp for a week, i'd hate to imagine what would happen if i fell off while moving, even at 10 kph i think it would hurt alot, I'll concentrate more from now on ;-) And thanks for watching BTW, appreciated...

  • loved the video, loved the annotations, really want to visit HK now, i am sorry but i really did laugh at the bike falling (hope there wasn't too much damage) but it was funny. 5* and favourited, thanks for sharing :)

  • I knew you'd laugh, i did when i watched it myself ! Other than the fancy metal footpeg snapping off (which i only installed the day before ;-() , NOT a scratch on the bike itself, dunno how , but i think the bike landed on my knee, so it never really touched the ground ;-) Had a purple knee for a week though.......... all better now ;-)............. Thanks for watching Dan.

  • Sent you the "add annotations link", try before you buy, love u long long time ;-)

  • Dan My Man, GREAT annotations you added, good show ...... thanks dude. Was a good idea what ;-)

  • Wow, Robin, I enjoyed this ride. Nice to watch it with your annotations. Great to see China as well. Hope your leg is fine.

    Lots of love from Bea

  • Thanks Bea, Yeh i was so happy to get up to the China border, it was the farest i have ever rode before. I dont have a visa for my bike, so it was as far i could go without getting in trouble ;-)

  • always love your views of HK,hope da leg is better...lol

    Shangey

  • Thanks Shane, I had a purple knee for about a week..........

  • cool, thanks, hope the bike was ok after the drop. Don't worry we all do it :)

  • Yeh, i felt a bit stupid that day ;-) Other than the fancy metal footpeg snapping off (which i only installed the day before ;-() , not a scratch on the bike itself, dunno how but i think the bike landed on my knee, so it never really touched the ground ;-) Had a purple knee for a week..........

  • thanks for sharing a little bit of HK with me!!

  • Thought you might be missing it a bit....... not!
