i didn't post this to "try to help" anyone. it was posted because it was my first customization and i did it with what i had since we didn't have the money to go out and get what i needed. i was pretty proud that i made it work.

Does the doll's head have to be sawed open or does is just come apart? Do you redo the original eye chips or do you put in new pieces? Interesting look at the end.

some people saw it but others prefer soaking the head so the glue will loosen up. as for eyechips, they're usually new ones.

Cool. I am trying to get a blythe and I want to customize (make a mini me).  Chihuahuas are great dogs.. I have two of them. Good job on the doll.

Nice job painting the lips by hand and REALLY cute freckles! how do you get the freckles to look so perfect? what tool do you use?

i just used my thin paintbrush and dotted them on.. quickly! lol. i was actually surprised at how easily it worked. ;) & thanks dear.
