His poppa was a CIA operative hoaxing as a "conservative" although Wm F Buckley's real task was to further the false 'right vs left' paradigm to keep the nation divided while the satanists in the CIA-MilitaryIndustry wrecked havoc across the globe with endless wars and death. So Chris Buckley's endorsement of Barry Soetoro--a handpicked puppet for the globalists--is a moot discussion. To see the sad state of Wm F Buckley's last days search YouTube for "Death William F Buckley" on Charlie Rose.
Chris how is that vote working out for you? Or for US? good call so glad ur Dad didnt see this, both are terrible....NO the decent thing to do would be to NOT HAVE HANDED OUR COUNTRY over the the Communist
@ReDiserio I sincerely hope you decide to pursue enough of an education to think on your own. Whether you agree or disagree with Obama, calling him a Communist, or a Socialist, is proof of inferior intellectual stature. You are, of course, entitled to your opinion; just be aware that it makes you look like a fool.
"The Obamacons — that’s to say, conservatives hot for Barack- – justify their decision to support a big-spending big-government Democrat with the most liberal voting record in the Senate by “hoping” that he doesn’t mean it, by “hoping” that he’ll “change” in office...
The “change” we’ll get isn’t hard to discern: An expansion of government, an increase in taxes, a greater annexation of the dynamic part of the economy by the sclerotic bureaucracy, a reduction in economic liberty.." --Mark Steyn
@tabber87 And how exactly does sitting out an election do any good? I do not agree with Obama, but to not vote for him would have made him one vote weaker against his opposition. He was, and still is, the lesser of two wrongs. I desperately wish there was an alternative, but unfortunately there is not, which is why Obama will be getting my vote in the upcoming election. There is absolutely no healthy/sane alternative.
@DefeatedElitist And just how poor of a candidate are you willing to vote for? The lesser of two evils approach only ensures that the system will never truly change. Sitting out an election because both candidates suck doesn't itself effect change, however I don't see how taking an active role in electing one of said candidates is a preferable option. And to hold that Mccain's administration would be radically different from Obama's is tenuous position at best.
Scion of CIA propaganda dynasty endorses the errand boy groomed by experts from adolescence for the job of Lapdog-in-Chief. What a surprise.
Btw, RFK Jr.'s vocal quirk is a result of a condition of the larynx called Spasmodic Dysphonia, same as late actress Katherine Hepburn and NPR presenter Diane Rehm. This milquetoast has no such challenge in life -- he's just incredibly affected.
I feel that McCain's Cabinet cannot be trusted. Their constant spread of fear towards people who do not understand socialism, Ayers, terrorist, taxes, and so much more have has made me disrespect McCain who was once to be thought of as a man of integrity. McCain's strength was in his record more than in his attacks of Obama. Now that we have people who are scared of a new presidency, fear fueled violence well erupt for those who except change. Mccain seems to have not lead the right campign.
It's pretty funny when a right wing rag founded by an elitist snob gets rid of the founders son. Christopher Buckley could have done wonders for the magazine by letting all the bigoted right wing-nuts drop their subscriptions and maybe decent thinking people could then lead the magazine to some semblance of reasonable thinking. As for conservative economics you neo-cons no longer own that moniker. You surrendered that bit of fairy-tale, if you ever had it in the first place. So much for Reagan!!

The man is a moderate conservative and the National Review kicked him out! That is a moderate conservative publication. Wild times.

His arguments on the Daily Beast were right on. Look at what Palin is up to today! What on earth would she have been like as a VP?

@tabber87 none in their right mind could vote for palin and mccain.

@aussieguy2109 No one in their right mind could have voted for Obama/Biden.
That's why I sat my first presidential election out.

I'd like to know what Mr. Buckley thinks of his decision now.

@napoleonseven probably the same, despite obama's preformance, he was the only sane option.

I think his mouth is just dry. Or, he may have a catch (a slight stammer) in his voice like RFK Jr.

Chris Buckley has Tourette syndrome. I wonder if he knows it. He has classic tics, like throatclearing, eyeblinking, twitching nose, etc.
