@ NewYorkS4U : I agree with you. I like this show a lot too and the only thing I ever disliked about it was Debra constantly acting like a bitch over little thing Ray says and does and also runs his life. I would never stay married to a hot lady if she treats me the way debra treats ray.

What is even more weird is that ray still wants her to have sex with him and also still found it important to him to please her when she does all this to him. I could never understand that.

@17NJDevilsfan A lot of the humour is based around Debra annoying Ray or being annoyed by Ray so I think without her the show would not be as funny. This is one of the few comedy shows where I liked every character. Almost every other show there is one character who annoys the hell out of me, Phoebe, Kramer, Pam, the entire cast of How I Met Your Mother etc, but guys lay off Debra, the show wouldn't be as good without her.

Now that I think of it, he also has a huge ego as well where he always made sure he was way more superior than Robert and always made sure Marie will always favor him over Robert and I always hated that. Since debra was my least favorite, ray is now my least favorite because of these reasons I stated and also because of what you said too, you're right he does fuck everything up. I guess I should love it when those 2 fight
