That was shocking! Terrible intonation! It's fine for a student to put a video of their scales on youtube for others to see, but don't present yourself as an expert doing it the right way when you're not. You are giving many cello students the wrong idea of how to play!
Once upon a time there was a violinist who held their bow correctly. They slightly changed their pinkie, and arched their wrist so they assumed it would be a cello grip. This poor misinformed individual assumed himself an expert and stuck himself on a youtube channel called Expert Village, where thousands of beginners are being corrupted to this day. The end.
He isn't playing C Major at that point. He plays the first octave of C, then the first octave of G and then the first octave of D basically, poorly explaining the portable W-W-H-W-W-W-H structure of a major scale.
Geez. It pains me to watch you play scales with your right wrist bent the way it is. I hope you take that and your intonation into consideration when actually teaching others how to play scales.

He did actually play F#. Watch his fingers.

The notes played on the D and A string have sharps! C major isn't supposed to have sharps!

Expert Village?... The most tortured, inexpert bowing you could hope to find... he's obviously a poorly trained student.
