I listen to and respect every genre of music, even country (haha), and Liquid DnB/Funk by far creates the best and most diverse atmosphere. Unlike metal/punk/rock, it's pretty nice to listen to in the morning. Unlike Real Rap/HipHop/RnB, you don't have to rely on the lyrics to be able to connect with the song. As for techno/electro/house, I think Liquid feels more open and positive. (That’s just my opinion; I rarely see a dirty Liquid track) All you need are some good headphones and you’re set.
