Yep, HD 1080p, but it has no image stabilizer, the result is a laggy record even doing soft movements.

If this camera had stabilizer and optical zoom, it would be perfect.

I am debating wether or not to buy this camcorder, as some of the video tests of this show excellent quality and others show the same if not worse quality than my old canon zr500. I do remain undecided...

its really good quality in HD but this persons test was badish cause they were moving too much!!

u are wrong there is an optical zoom i have this camera, u just need to set in options - digital zoom - off

yes and no.

the movies and photos can be downloaded to the mac, but the webbie cannt be used as a web cam on the mac.

what do you mean exactly, of course you could plug in the usb, or put in the memory stick, and then just open it up in finder, but i dont think you can use the shitty video management system with mac though, but theres really no point in it....

I had have two Flip camaras both broke. The first one in less then six months the second in a year. Im not hard on them and they will never get my money again.

The last one a battery blew up in it when it wasnt on.

Im looking over reviews now to find a new camera.
