That was an incredibly stupid thing to do. I live in Louisiana and we love our tourists, but we frown on them just FEEDING the gators, or trying to get too close to them to take pictures. They seem to think that if they're tame and friendly and don't realize that they're predators. I've NEVER seen ANYBODY do something stupid as this. That's just asking for it. Especially at the edge of the water. The guy's lucky. People, don't EVER do this where there's alligators.  They can KILL you!
