THIS PHONE IS CRAP! i am on my third one. i wish i listened to the at&t guy that told me not to buy it but i did anyway and thank god i got the insurance with it. The phone randomly reboots and turns off and sometimes the screen goes black for a couple of seconds. NEVER will i ever ever ever buy a samsung again

I tested this phone out at the AT&T store today and I was very very fast. way faster than my iphone. some features of the interface is nice while others need improvement. this phone was only $300 with no contract, the rep offered it to me for $175 with new 2yr contract. Im gonna wait to see what the iphone 4G has to offer otherwise my love affair with my iphone is getting stale.

well you could get it but you need a 2 year contract to have it work. and as for the data and text its only 30 monthly for unlimited plus this cellphone can be use as a moden via bluethood over link without getting extra charge on your bill (that is only if you have unlimited data and never download from turrets or p2p, they can track that) and well its a mobile 3g connection that can cover practically anywere, fast enough to even play xbox live. if someone is interested tell me before ding it.

Before my birthday, I was thinking about wanting this, the Solstice, or the Impression. But, because of the slide-out qwerty keyboard, I went with the Impression. I know that phone doesn't have a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a micro usb (not proprietary) connector, and the latest version of TouchWiz. You can check out my review of the Impression by just searching "samsung impression review saxman112". I just have one question now. Is it possible to get the latest TouchWiz for the Impression?

Mostly all Samsung phones, you can change the background, but not the screen saver :|. So every time it locks, u see it's default pictures..

I have the phone and i like it but there is no way to change the screen saver and that sucks bec there are two pic one of a butterfly and a flower and they are kinda girly but other then that it texts well and calls well and i can look at my facebook :)

@CoolMan22188 I had the same problem. i went to the at&t store to get the impression, but the Impression was sold out, and she showed me the Mythic and i fell in love with the phone. But they're all almost the same only, the Mythic has the accelerometer built-in and the QWERTY keyboard is on screen (Tilt screen to get the keyboard) and handwriting mode. The only problem is that the speed and Performance on the Mythic lags behind the Solstice and the Impression, but the Mythic is my favorite.

I just bought the mythic a few hours ago from wirefly, and then I stumbled across this video. I was able to just renew my contract, and I got the mythic for free (but i have to pay an $18 activation fee). I wasn't able to do it online though, so I called them up. After a bunch of upsells, I submitted my order. They charged me $1 which they said they would refund.

The mythic for $18.. hard to beat that. Not sure how long the deal's gonna last though

But if you're not extending your contract.. buy the mythic from @m@z0n. You can get it there for only $50.

And yes, you can get the internet on this phone. I know on the family plan you can get unlimited data for this phone for only $10/month per line. Not sure how much it is on an individual plan, but probably $10 or $15 a month.

Theoretically, the Impression would be better cuz it has the keyboard and touchscreen. But look on att's customer reviews about the complaints of how bad the keyboard glitches and needs to be reset several times a day. Solstice has very bad call quality with loud echos that make annoy you and the other caller. Mythic has none of those problems above and is my choice based on that, feel free to research a different opinion tho :]

Yeah seems like the Solstice is a bit faster on loading the GUI and not choppy like the Mythic, but the Mythic is newer, full HTML, and actually has a Headset jack. But is a little bit slow on loading Menus. HARD TO CHOOSE, Stuck with the same option
