You know what comes in handy? Throw the "watch" command in there to get a second by second report on who's on your network. Something like:

(let's say your network is a 192.168. etc and for non-sudo users)

su -c "watch -n 01 -t 'nmap -sP 192.168.1.50-255'" root

...now if your in a TMUX shell and you open a new pane and enter:

su -c "nestat -tunpc" root

...you'll see what connections you have open. Just a tip :P
