Marquez was doing good and winning in the first round of the first fight before he got knocked down 3 times so a 10-7 score on that round is more than fair i think. You do not have to score it 10-6 is not a definite rule, i think its 3-0 Marquez.

@MrWhitipino 1) Marquez was actually winning the round easily in compubix - there is no rule saying you have to score it 10-6 with 3 knockdowns, you just need to take away 3 points. Because Marquez was winning the round without the knockdowns, the 10-7 is more than fair. Furthermore, rounds 4 and 5, the SAME judge gave the rounds to Pac, and was the only judge to do so. Round 4 was close, Round 5 was completely dominated by JMM and he still gave it to Pac. Please research and know your boxing.

Great rivalry in modern boxing. Pacquiao edged the series and did enough in 3rd fight. If Marquez spent less time complaining, it may be a different story. Pacquiao does not cherry pick opponents, he collects mexican champions titles. Mayweather is no ring warrior, fights Mosely, DLH and Cotto at the end of their careers. Counts his dollars instead.

Ducked the third fight with marquez for waaaaay to long and instead fought people like a faded mosley, clottey and margarito. guys, for all of you that say MP won't last against a counter puncher, think about this: Marquez and Mayweather are 2 different types of Counterpunchers. Marquez counters each and everytime his opponent throws a punch, whereas Mayweather only counters when he sees an opening, meaning he doesn't throw as much. you've seen how Mayweather fights, he only throws like 1-2 punch combos, whereas MP throws combos at ease.... but gee, I'm just a pactard right? lol

Jorge Linares said here that it was a unique experience to have the chance to train with Manny, be his sparring partner and be able to give him some sort of a clue on how to decode Marquez's style. The irony in that, is that Linares himself posted after the fight, that Marquez won it and got screwed out of it. And he was not the only Roach fighter and Manny's partner who posted something like that on Twitter (Khan also said it!!!) What a rivalry this has been, but Marquez should've won 2 outta 3

ATTENTION If you think Marquez won the fight, you need to learn your boxing more. Even though he landed more percentage AND power punches, Pacquaio still outworked him. AND being the CHALLENGER , you have to be working your ass off when going against any champion. Being a counter puncher doesnt always win the judges decision you have to be better than that if you wanna win. so stop whining its over.

I like Manny too, but he lost this fight, Marquez controlled him. Manny is no longer the invincible Ghengis Khan from asia, he did lose that aura of invincibility, more decisively. Mayweather is going to jump in now, Manny doesnt seem so scary to him anymore.
