Hey, so now I wang to put everything back together. The only probelm is that I disconnected 2 wires (one skinny width, and one with a big width). I believe the skinny width is for the mouse, but everytime I try to just pop it back in- it just falls right out? Any help?
Although this gets me a lot further than I was earlier, the "self-explanatory" remark in a "How To" is a less-than-ideal tech-writing practice. Could you maybe insert another minute or so on removing items like the hard drive and memory board? *All* dissassembly steps, shown in sequence (however briefly), would be excellent. Reassembly is then self-explanatory. Many thanks either way. Very useful video.
@cliffe6fig Glad you found this useful. I should have begun filming BEFORE disassembly, however, I figured that the location of the CMOS battery was important enough for most.
As for my "self-explanatory" remark, there really isn't anything to see. Remove all the screw that you can see and note their location on a sheet of paper and you should be fine.
@cliffe6fig Removing the trim just north of the keyboard might be a little tricky for some. If it's of any help, release the hinge covers with a small screwdriver first, then. pull the power button trim from the north side. It will take a tiny screwdriver to get it started but it should release easily.
