Hi Nathan, I use crushed charcoal soaked in paraffin to get the fire going, once the charcoal is burning then i start slowly putting on normal coal that has been crushed and sieved to bean sized pieces. Takes about 45 mins to get up to running pressure .
Hey Andrew ;) Yes thanks, the gauge glass worked like a charm, its just the angel, that bit is on quite a downhill, also have the axle pumps quarter open most of the time.
Man it looks like so much fun. i wish i had a little loco like that but its to expensive. Thanks for sharing this vid.

Hey Juz, glad the gauge glass helped, is it just the angle or do you let the water get so low in the boiler usually ;-)
