@skateronguitar Personally I'd say there's one distortion pedal and guitar volume at full, and probably recorded with a low watt amp wide open to give the extra distortion and tone. The tone sounds too good to just be a pedal. In my opinion.

@FunRadProductions No slide guitar. It's just distortion and choked notes, as @skateronguitar pointed out. Adding in the choked notes between the motifs keeps the rhythm steady and adds a percussive element. It's your standard, run of the mill blue/rock trio guitar strategy.

I emailed Asche and Spence and asked Carol Dunn (the Executive Producer) if this song "Pindrop" was their song and she said yes the song is their song. She wasn't sure the name was Pindrop, but will check on it and get back to me. So I believe the answer that sydstop gave is correct. Artist Company Asche & Spence ... nope. the song in 21 was "i am the unknown' by the aliens. it's the same chord progression as the end of the commercial, but not the same song. it's also the same progression as deep purple and kula shaker's 'hush.' but neither has the funk riff up front. it is badass, so please keep digging!
