@kpbrian79 ...well I would not point the finger to whose fault could it be over degassing substructure when it comes to bubbles ... there many reasons how this can occur ...let me ask you to start with...in what stage do you get bubbles after opaque, biscuit bake or glaze? ...and when the bubble turns out is the metal visible or the opaque at the end of it?
If you can give me this info we can start to reduce or possibilities in detecting the nature of the problem...Thanks!
@Edident its after biscuit bake, bubble forms and metal is not visible and the opaque is visible at the end.
I do opaque, and the porcelain people blame me for this problem. but my argument is, why doesn't the bubble form in every coping? why just certain coping, and all non precious metals. bubbles never form in pfg or captek.
@kpbrian79 ...well based on the fact that metal dosent show aat teh bottom of the bubble it seems that the buildup of porcelain is trapping air or buildup lliquid is too thick please send me some macro pictures ( edident@hotmail.it ) and I will be able to be more precise on this matter... what opaque are u using ? Paste or powder...and what method of application do u use?
