Richard Wright did the best job at capturing classic Floyd sound after Waters' departure with this one. This song is like a combination of "Us and Them" with "Comfortably Numb". Lyrics are very in tune with Waters era stuff. Definitely my favorite Post Roger Waters Pink Floyd song.

The Division Bell is the proof of maturity and musical evolution of Pink Floyd. I love Wish you were here and Dark side of the moon and all other great albums, and I can't compare them, but The Division Bell captures Pink Floyd at it's best, it is the full exposure of the masterminds that developed and improved with time.

I think most of us were really disappointed when Momentary Lapse came out, and this too, sounds like a smooth version of their 70's work , some kind of easy listening which somebody else could have made - a Pink Floyd imitator. To me it sounds bland and conventional- sorry i know a lot of people like this album. Their creative prime is truly with Waters - and Barret

I have always been a Floyd fan, for me it has always been "Wish you were Here" as their number one album, however, I have to say, that this album keeps growing on me to the point where it probably is my number one now! It has just crept up on me, just like my age! This tracks sums up the album for me, and no AwesomeCoasters that does not mean we are amateurs, just appreciators of some of the finest rock music on this planet!
