ok, to make it perfect, make the fir encompass your whole hand, make the fire blue (cuz blue fire looks way cooler), and don't make it obvious that you edited out the ball. otherwise its great.

Well, basically what I did was I downloaded the clip i needed, dragged the clip into after effects, resized it, and played with the blending options until I got the effect i wanted.
