Although I don't miss the stagnant ecomony in Hilo...I still do miss how beautiful it is and so are the people. I can honestly say Hilo is perfect in its own way.
I was in Hilo for a day a few months ago and it was actually sunny. I had heard so much about its reputation for rain, but I got a treat, a rare sunny day.
i grew up in honolulu but u guys are very blessed to live in hilo while i currently live in the worst country in the world, philippines, i dont even know why they call it a country
This video makes me miss my home town. I was raised all over the west coast, was born in Honolulu . Lived in cali and hawaii most my life. Most my ohana is from Hilo town,but i currently live in kansas city,mo. Its a ok place to live most the time.There a good amount locals here.But its nothing like being home

@1thussey I'm going to Hawaii too on a school trip, except I'll be there in January 2012! And yes, Hilo is going to be one of the places I'll go to.
