Well Vriska didn't die heroically or justly, but before her god tier clock could decide if she died in the right way, Jack broke it. I guess it never really did decide, but if her clock is broken then she can't come back, and that's why she died. This song is based on a scene from the Scratch Scrapbook when past John or some John after the game meets ghost Vriska but doesn't remember anything about the game or who she is. It's real sad.

@janine5261 It's kind of up in the air AFAIK. The Crowbar's Crowbar Spades used apparently negates clocks. It's unlikely but I don't think the dreambubble is the last we'll see of Vriska.

@janine5261 I hate to break this to you, but her soming back had nothing to do with the clock, which was fixed a moment later. Terezi used her mind powers and saw that even if Vriska won, everybody else would die, and as they said "Victory is pointless if all else is doomed". When Terezi stabbed Vriska, it was to stop her from pointlessly getting them all killed. Hence, it was a just death.

In fact, Dave had to tell John that if he flew into the GS it would be heroic, so by the above logic the most obvious choice of action would be to not tell him. Vriska was an awful bitch, but can you blame her? Her entire life she was forced to kill other trolls just because she was "lucky" enough to be an aristocrat. Then it turns into something that is excitement but a tinge of disappointment. And there’s such a magical feel to it. What hits me is the ending. Andrew drives me nuts. He gives a special care to seemingly insignificant things, just to, with minimal detail and continuity, explode a series of epic events in your face. I can no longer avert my attention, I can't forget Vriska. She was an endearing bitch, alright, but when you get to know her story and the sad fate of her kind... I'm not ashamed to say that I cried when she confessed to John. Don't want her back. I just want John to remember Vriska. This lack of conclusion consumes me.

Note that this is Vriska's only character song that doesn't have her character instrument, the electric guitar (Well, except for "She's A Sp8der", but still). This song doesn't have the same driving qualities as all her other songs, instead it's more peaceful. I think that's representative of her personality and flaws before and after her death. While she was alive, she was a competitive 8itch (symbolized by the guitar), but now she's at peace (symbolized by the flutes).
