If Jim Chones hadn't broken his foot before the start of this series, the Cavaliers would have won this series and went on to win the NBA title. Only in Cleveland ...
@xmuscularghandix I was there...I was on the floor as a ball boy for the cavs...and whipple is right on the money...Dave Cowens had more than he could handle with Thurmond...even at 35 years old..Nate was boxing him out on rebounds and banging him silly in the post....add a fresh chones...and they would be toast
This was the Eastern Conference Final, in which the Celtics would win(Obviously). After all, this was the year they played that Famous Triple-Overtime Game against the Phoenix Suns in the Finals, in which they won, along with Game 6 in Phoenix, to wrap up the 1976 NBA World Championship.
I love these classic clips however not when they are in poor quality. I like the original broadcast because I want to see it the same way people saw it then.
I absolutely agree, tell that to frickin NFL films.... They show old NFL games in slow motion and they interrupt drives to talk to drunk players, and the radio announcers are terrible.... THE TV COVERAGE WASTHE BEST. When you see these atheletes in real time motion, you can see that they were athletic and the action was great
