That roar sounds like King Kong's roar. You know, the 70s version of King Kong.
How weird that Peter Jackson had seen both this film and the 70s version of King Kong - in the 70s - and then in this past decade, he makes both LORD OF THE RINGS and KING KONG, both of which claim to be faithful adaptations of their original sources when they really aren't and they seem to take a lot from those previous film adaptations in the 70s.
What a clever idea - blending the old beloved classic Bakshi score with the somewhat self-important untouchable Peter Jackson movie - nice! Very enjoyable.
You wanna hear something else? I was only fifteen when I started to be crazy over LOTR, and I would ask my Mom what if they made a live action LOTR, and she always said they couldnt, it was too hard back then. She died in 89, wasnt able to see it realized but now here i am watching the two together..its pretty cool when you think about it..See Mom? They did it, not only that but Raima66 put em together! You wouldve tickled my Mom pink with this! THanks!
I love the way you put them together, I swear I love LOTR so much for most of my life, raised on it, started with Bakshi and now Jackson, I feel like I am having some sort of religous experience with this or something! Lol Seriously I deeply LOVE what you did...:)
Quiet, Gandalf! You won't find any eggrolls behind the door!

It's weird how Elrond talking about each member of the fellowship matches up so well with that one shot at 1:45 :)

@bookworm1138 Yes, as I said "the old beloved classic Bakshi score" - and it is a classic.
