It is kind of scary how skinny this gal is... but then I look @ the audience & see they're ALL that thin!!--->Then I remember, this is the East coast, & everyone has to be a size zero just to feel normal! ...Even so, her thinness is very distracting & makes it difficult to enjoy an otherwise good performance. (Lest anyone think I have figure envy, I am 5'8"/120 lbs... but even I would look thick next to these east coast chicks!)
Now as to your comment, I think I'm missing something, like wtf are you talking about??? This is an exhibition, a performance, a show. So how does that say anything about social dancing in the whole USA???
Also I've never heard any follower who danced with Alex describe it as lacking connection, maybe you know something that the women who have danced with him don't, but I doubt it.

This shows that social tango isn't alive and well in the USA--it's all about exhibition. There is no connection in their dancing.
