My sister has a mental illness, and found out she is gluten-intolerant and dairy-sensitive. So all these years she has been eating foods she’s allergic to! She’s feeling much better, now, with the new diet, and vitamin/herb therapies, combined with the pharmaceuticals, (the side-effects from which have subsided). So, combined, I believe there is a place for prescription drugs. There are even pharmacies, now, that sell combination-therapy products. Consult a naturopath. Attack the source.
I'm not a trained and liscensed psychiatrist so I need someone who is smarter than I am to explain to me the difference between using psychotropic drugs as a daily crutch vs. using alcohol and street drugs as a daily crutch.
@ArionaMew Yeah... It's hard to beleive that people listen to those "Possible" side-effects, and go ahead with taking them anyway! Someone needs to protect such dolts; they're inherently suicidal at the least!
For awhile there, I thought I had a quad-polar disorder but then I realized I was just being haunted by a memory of playing pinochle with 3 others who were much better than me.
Kidding aside, more and more people are starting to realize there's a reason the time spent listing the side effects of the anti-depressant is longer than the commerical itself.
If the SSRI's actually worked 1 % as good for getting high or med treatment as claimed they might have some value. If I could find a good lawyer I would sue the pharms for fraud and the other worse atrocities that they do for profit only.
Yeah but they want you to be sick that's why the meds don't even take away the symptoms and give you side effects just as bad or worse than the reason your taking them in the first place.
Right on the mark, CCHR! You guys knock me out with the clarity and truth of your stuff. And I can see that most people recognize the truth when they are given it--it's just that so much info we're given nowadays looks like truth but is only covertly disguised to appear that way. Keep pushing y'all!! You'll get there.
It's too bad there is so much truth to it, or it would be even funnier-- most won't face the truth, they'd rather believe there is a magic pill and treat symptoms (poorly, I might add) rather than underlying problems. Another side effect that's not mentioned by many (at least for Effexor and Cybalta) is bladder and (eventually bowel incontinence...) Sad but true--is it worth having a flat line for emotions but yet needing depend undergarments before 40???? Thanks for this funny vid!
I see it in children i tutor. I can't make progress with kids on psychotropic drugs. How does psychiatry get away with this? When they sell drugs they know have killed or may kill, it's nothing less than murder or attempted murder
Dr. Glasser (Choice Theory/Reality Therapy) says, "There is no such thing as a side effect of a drug. There are only effects and what people (drug companies) don't like, they call side effects."
Its ridiculous, that people will still take this stuff when right there in its own advertisement it tells them the most horrendous $#!+ this drug will do to you.
cpx86 are you kidding? Its a parody -- and not to push you further out the limb but there is no such thing as tripolar disorder so not quite sure how you know what drugs are recommended for it...
I'm going out on a bit of a limb here, but AFAIK anti-depressants are not recommended for use with neither tripolar nor bipolar disorder. The only pharmaceutical treatment for bipolar that has any well-documented effect is Lithium, which is not an anti-depressant.
Also, have you tried it yourself, heard a personal retelling of someone who has, or did you just snatch that from the "common side-effects" list?
Third, which drug are you actually talking about? Is it an MAOI, tricyclic, SSRI, SNRI?
I've "tried it myself" with Zoloft. IT made me suicidal and homicidal. Lithium causes thyroid problems and your bones to rot. ALL SSRIs have those side effects. Why should we try all the different SSRIs??? 4 months for me was more than enough... Get real.
@amyphilo My sister has a mental illness, and found out she is gluten-intolerant and dairy-sensitive. So all these years she has been eating foods she’s allergic to! @london2z yes, naturopaths can be a great help.. esp if the depression is celiac related. I see one to treat my lupus becuz my system actually attacks the drugs they used to treat it! but natural works for me.
The point of this parody is to show how asinine someone has to be to go and put themselves on one of these drugs. WHAT EVER DRUG IT IS!
And yes, just by looking at the labels you can logically extrapolate that if they say they're dangerous than they must be dangerous. And if that isn't enough, go ahead and line up the number of people on these medications and you tell me.
Also it's cool to see who does come up with videos if you go to YT home page and search for FDA antidepressant warning. So why don't they bother to do something more about psychiatric drugs?
So yesterday after I filed two medwatch reports, I decided to check out the FDA home page and YouTube channel. I searched all over their channel for anything about antidepressants. I could not find any.
Psychiatry is a complete scam. fuck them .
