i absolutely LOVE Julie in that dress and those shoes and the color of her eye shadow because that color of blue looks so lovely on her! it compliments her eyes! i adore her
What an amazing version - where's it from? I love Julie Andrews, and they compliment each other so well. Bellissima. They have that wonderful charm (and innocence) that so few retain today...enchanting.
Seeing and hearing a performance like this just convinces me that my generation, the 20-somethings, got ripped off as far as entertainment goes. Who today could give us something so effortlessly enchanting? What a stunning song, I absolutely love it.
What happened to TV variety shows that gave us treats like this? Andy's voice is as smooth and clear as flowing water. Julie was in her prime. This was before "Sound of Music" was released in 1965. I love the way they cuddle as they sing. They performed this skit singing on pitch, making it look effortless. It's also quite a lovely harmony arrangement of a little song from "Oliver!" that should've been more of a hit. Thank you for this nostalgic and poignant reminder of TV worth watching.

I loved seeing that!!! I have an audio tape of it but not the video. I listen to it a lot, but what a treat to SEE it again.
Do you happen to have the video of Julie & the Osmonds singing Supercalifragilistic from that same show?
Thanks again for giving us the chance to see such wonderful performers together.
