  • I'm going to give it a whirl this weekend, your instructions are easy to follow.

  • Good video. I purchased the air filter, popped the hood, and then I'm looking down, scratching my head, and thinking WTF - where'd they put the thing. Totally messed up ... on par with putting the battery in the trunk.

  • Kool. I'm popping in a K&N this weekend and this helps immensely.

  • Thank you.I just replaced my air filter thanks to your vid.I put a K&n air filter on it

  • You aren't lazy for using a drill. That just makes things go more quickly! :)

  • Thanks , I'm hoping this will resolve an issue I just started having with mine loosing power when accelerating. Like one of the other comments, I had my oil changed at Jiffy Lube and they were trying to charge my $78 to change the dang air filter.. I told them to kick rocks. Thanks again

  • Thanks for making this video!!!

I wasn't quite sure how the cover came off, the guys at Jiffy Lube wanted like $58.00 to replace the filter. He kept sayin that you had to go from the back to replace it, obviously he didn't know diddly... You can get a Gold Napa filter for under $15.00. Your video helped me save money & get the job done, thanks!

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

  • yeah we have had a filter for 2 months now and they were going to charge us 80 to replace it but now I think we have it covered.. thanks

  • What Was The Point Of Doing All That If You Didnt Have A New Filter Lmao...

And You Say Your Lazy...Guess So Couldnt Jump In Your HHR And Go Buy One lmao

  • @AaronSS06 ONE: The point was to show ALLL of these people that thanked me for showing them how to do it because it's not a ''simple" procedure as most are. TWO: It wasn't my car. THREE: It didn't really need a new filter. FOUR: GTFO. FIVE: BLOCKED!

  • @sideburns2009 dude that air filter needed to be changed, a lot of times, the dust and crap you can not see with your eyes, and it was pretty yellow looking, so I'm not sure how you can say it didn't need to be changed.

  • @joesmith64 I said I was too lazy. First of all, it wasn't my car. I did change the filter a month ago. Funny how the brand new one was ALSO yellow.

  • Brilliant description for the hhr. Knew what he was talking about, and skilled with his hands. Concise directions, thanks so much. Will go outside now and replace mine for the first time.

  • @panright1 Thanks

  • Awesome. Thanks for the video, that damn filter was driving me nuts...

  • Awesome, thank you. I just bought a brand new 2011 and was wondering how the heck to access the air filter! I've had an Ecotec before but the HHR has a different air intake set up. Looks easy enuf :)

  • @focusonthegreen You're welcome.

  • dude you're a lifesaver!! great video even giving the screw sizes so i can be fully prepared.

  • @papaboule No problem. :D

  • awesome thanks .... this really helped.. i have a 2008 hhr and i am not happy with it ...but until next yrs trade...lol i have to keep this one up...

  • @villegasni Welcome!

  • Thanks dude. The HHR instructions were of no help. It was nice to visualize what was going on.

  • @MukAudio No problem!
