  • I've seen him in concert multiple times and he does wear out near the end like anyone would. From what I can tell this seems to be an encore. Anyway, we all know that Neil is not a "classically trained" vocalist, so taking that into consideration he is amazing! Actually, he's amazing regardless of his training!! Love you Neil!

  • give the poor man a break...at least he tried his best, even though he was feeling sick! sooo lay off him...for crying out loud !!!!!

  • He went out there.. and gave it his best.. and knowing that.. Im happy to have experienced that. Some people are not as fortunate to say they have witnessed this amazing artist. We all have good days and bad days. And can I just say.. I looked at some of the other videos on here... and these girls are amazing too! Keep up the smiles girls!

  • ...as said the show must go on....he is a real trooper....wish I were there...just to be in his presence...he is awaome.....

  • all of us fans love you neil and believe in you, your the best, we all get ill , its part of being human, get better soon, forever nd..

  • Get well Neil. Can't wait till October.

  • I don't get how all of you can say this about Neil. He should not have gone on with this show, knowing how his voice was. It's almost arrogant to think that he could still do the show. As a fan, I would completely understand postponing the show until he could perform better. He wasn't just a little raspy; he was downright awful. It was still great seeing him for the first time, but it was very disappointing at the same time.

  • This tune was the final encore, by which time he was quite warmed up and sounded BETTER than he did for most of the show, believe it or not. The first half was quite painful for him and the audience. While he is the consummate professional, an incredible songwriter and a great talent, it's too bad nobody in the audience knew he was sick. The band was amazing, BTW. Props to Neil for admitting his error in going on that night. Can't wait to have him back in C'bus -- in good voice next time.

  • A lot of this is the poor quality of my camera. Sorry for all the motion.. but.. I had to dance! : )

  • I danced too when I saw him!

  • yay! life is all about the dancing!

  • He does sound horrible on here. This performance is a lot worse than being a little horse, his voice is bad in this video. He is doing the right thing by scheduling a free show.

  • Well, this IS a video, and the way the person videotaping is positioned, it could be just the audio that sounds bad, not Neil. His voice is raspy, but NOT all that bad!

  • this was taken from my camera.. the sound quality is indeed bad.. so dont use that as a good judge.. cause.. it sounded much much better in person.

  • I thought he did a great job! I saw him last month and his voice always sounds like he is a little hoarse, to me that is just the uniqueness of his voice. Also, he has been doing A LOT of touring, so it is to be expected.

Great job Neil ! We LOVE you !!!!

  • Even though he was very ill, Neil made a valiant effort to give his fans what they came for...his wonderful music. I commend him, and thank him for his courage and his dedication to his fans. He certainly lives up to the phrase, "The Show Must Go On"...he is the epitome of professionalism...Get well soon Neil!!

  • It only shows how much he loves his fans, being ill and giving the best he could!

That's one of the many we love him all so much!
