Oh yeah, I remember trying the rappelling into the window on my SRT team in the army...it is NOT easy at all. Then to unhook, ready weapon...better have good cover or heat signatures non-existent before going in.

Why wasn't the hostage recued? -kinda missed that one. Nice job though seriously...SRT/EST units really do train hard for this sorta thing. They are the first responders until the fed units can show up. I was on an SRT team for two years at Fort Lewis and trained hard (like you folks) for hostage situations/barricaded offenders and such. Thanks for your service to our country and all your dedication to the Armed services!

@td84 This to me? Army side SRT - not DOD. Some posts have DOD teams nowadays though.
