@PatData i'm guessing he probably uses Adobe After Effects or something along the lines of that. You can make a cheap green screen with paper or something. Just tape it to your wall, and have a decent camera. You can use adobe after effects or a good video editing program with a color keyer to do all of the backround stuff.
