Para mi uno de los mejores saltadores del mundo, asi tambien uno de los mejores en piso, tal ves estara a la par en salto con Corral y en Piso con Santiago en los Panamericano, tal ves los mexicanos le ganaran pero por el factor (anfitrion), los tres son excelentes, soy mexicano, pero sin embargo creo que es levemente superior Tomas Gonzalez a mis compatriotas en sus respectivas diciplinas que dominan, Santiago en Piso y Corral en salto

This could have never gotten Gold. Sasaki's vaults were way better. It is clear to me that the judges were heavily biased against Brazil. Maybe Mexico is still upset with the loss of the bronze medal in the women's team competition at the 2007 PanAms in Brazil and advised judges to be extra strict with Brazil. Oh, politics...
