  • Bite the bullet and buy an airbrush :)

  • because... uhh... i don't know. lol. got me laughing

  • nail polish bottles make great aibrush bottles as well...so do insulin bottles.

  • those cheap ones like that..you have to do some modifications to to get them to work right..check airbrushtips.110mb.com/index....dude shows some cool tricks on how to get cheap ones like that (which is a badger 350 clone)..going pretty good. aslo some good mods for other low end airbrushes.

  • @KeithWasHere1 yeah forgot..you gotta put the dubya dubya dubya and at the start and Ach Tee Em El at the end of that link to get to take you to it...frikkin youtube always bunks it when you punt in web code.

  • Very creative, you can paint your sock. lol

  • the vl- set & tg -set the best of the best! paasche rules!

  • @MrHoodojnik i own a paache..its good...but i also own a testors aztec 1000...been using it for years and years its rock solid..also a central pneumatic i picked up on sale with compressor for 15 bucks... cheap airbrushes can work from ok,to well to fantastic if you put a small amount of time into them and fix some of its flaws most are really easy to fix..a softer/harder spring here, some polishing/sanding there and they are golden!

  • suck my airbrush you looser

  • I give you props for making one but all i have to say is dont use water thats the dumbest thing ever they make paint thinner for a reason and what do u think you get for 7 dollars if you looked better their are better dual actions that are way better for like 20$ i personally have 6 dual actions and use paint thinner

  • So what your saying is that you suffered poor customer service? No surprise, for the lazy people these days.

  • Awesome dude very creative!

  • bicycle filleruppre..hahaha.nice one

  • dont use water to thin it out use paint thinner or vassal (same thing) its really good

  • ...because...eehhh... i don´t know. :D 1:44

  • you're so funnyxD

  • please tell me, what's the song at the beginning?

  • Bodge job..

  • god damn macgyver!! lmao u deff gotta get props for maken yer own n maken it better then a store brought one lol

  • You should have bought a paint gun, cheap ones go from 15$ to 25$. They offer som control and thinning paint with water will cause adhesion problems. As for your project you should use automotive grade paints and thinners or cans for the hobbyist!

  • damn man thats some african engineering right there!!

  • Bravo on the garage-engineering. It's suburbia meets "Bill Nye The science guy". But really If you want to paint something... ebay has really cheep($20) Taiwan airbrushes for smaller stuff or trying graphics. Rattle can can be done well, but it takes sanding every coat. Just search youtube for plane guys like the foam dude, they'll know what steps are best.

  • use an airbrush reduser... and check on the airbrush paint to see what psi, and stuff to use.. it has nothing to do with the airbrush itself..

  • you can paint your sock! :D

  • ıt can usefull maybe you have nothing. but it is so simple and you can buy a paint pistole 15 dollars also adjustable.

  • is it single action or double action

  • dude, I have that same badger airbrush...and I love it...whats wrong with you?

  • What mtn bike is in the background?

  • were did you get it again

  • People tend to confuse an airbrush with a nebulizer.

Sure they work on similar principles but the airbrush is foremost a brush - think painting.

I've designed nebulizers for cement but it's not something you can paint with - unless you're very famous, in whch case you can paint with an ass cheek and people will still buy it.

Make no mistake. A home made spray bottle attached to an air supply is not a brush. It a science demo on the Venturi effect, not an artisan tool.

  • your like such like a tool like you know like

  • can't really compare a good airbrush with a cheap one.

kinda funny the way you explained everything. and i'll give you a 10 for inventivity.

    good luck dude!

  • LOL !!! He has'nt something else to do ???

  • haha paint ur sock

  • lol the door!

  • You forgot the best part, eating the baby food, yum :-)

  • You can paint the cat box...You can paint the garage door?? For a minute there, I thought you were gonna paint the front bumper on Dad's Toyota! Five stars for inventiveness and suspense.

  • so whats pushing out the paint then

  • the air going over the tip is creating a suction and sucking the paint out

  • @rctestflight ..so its siphon or venturi action based....pretty slick.

  • @FlyHighRC386 YES!!! He missed THE MOST IMPORTANT THING.... telling us how he configured the venturi alignment with the air flow - nowhere in his whole damned vid... BTW I just made one from a metal ink pen barrel, a small perfume bottle, and brass plumbing T fitting for the end of auto air gun - screws on. :-)

  • I have two words for you

    Harbor Freight!

  • Anybody can buy a paint gun. It takes some serious ingenuity to make one, especially at such a young age.

  • I'm not knocking he is a smart kid but the parts he used cost more then a new airbrush at HF

  • LMAOOOOOO!!!! Perfect reply cuz from the looks of all the expensive things and boxes I saw as he panned around the garage somebody has already ordered a buncha shit from somewhere. Why not just buy a real airbrush. Or an automotive paint gun. Hell why not order a set? You can get an entire set of airbrushes from Harbor Freight for what you or dad paid for that plane or that DeWalt air compressor alone. lol He gets a 10 for creativity though. lol Smart man.

  • Correction: Cambell Hausfeld Air compressor. lol

  • Correction of correction: CAMPBELL Hausfeld. Don't text beat me too bad guys I'm still half asleep. lmao!

  • hahaha that was the best thing ever. I am convinced now that if you were stranded on a desert island you would make it out alive no problem. Nice job MacGyver. Older guys know who im talking about *****

  • Haha! Thats great! Really good job there.

  • Now that is some serious MacGyver stuff right there. 5/5

  • when airbrushing foam we dyloot the acrylic paint from walmart with windex. When air brushing you have to thin out the paint to use a airbrush to shoot it on..

Good luck. Like the home made job..

    GET OUT and FLY!!

    BruceM (BFOAMY)

  • ok thanks i will try that

  • @BMFoamy doesnt the blue stuff in the windex change the color of the paint? darken it alittle more than wanted?

  • Wow that is awesome!

  • the airbrush u bought did u hook it up to air compressor or hook it to a bottle of air?

  • air compressor

  • what adapter did u use? i cant find out how to hook mine up

  • I used one it came with

  • what dose the peice look like

  • it goes from 1 5/8 to like 1/4inch

  • haha lol... seriously.. read up on the airbrush before u use it.. dont mix the paint with water...

  • Why?

  • it dosent say that in the instructions

  • That is so cool there bud. Nice idea I might have to steal that one from ya......

  • I'm going to honest to ya....it would have been easier to just go to Harbor Freight and buy the kit with paint for 5 bucks.......BTW nice Lockheed logo...:)

  • lol ya but building new things is fun

  • that I can agree with, but oddly destroying them can be more, more so when done fast!

  • was you other airbrush hooked up to the compresser and it so how?

  • what?

  • DUDE!! NO WAY!!!

    Genius!

Call me when you get out of college...

    I'd like to hire you...

  • lol
