  • Awesome! Very professionally done.

  • Very well done and creative

  • is there anothr one in Arkham Asylum/City Style?

  • Absolutely marvelous dude. Captured the animation perfect. Awesomeness!!!

  • Epicness xD

  • Very enjoyable! Good work!

The only suggestion I have - and its a silly one - is that during "BIFF, POW, SPLAT", the

"camera" could shake around too much for us to actually see the fight. I say this as a Nolan Batman fan, BTW.

  • Nice job, really good art....but, the Tumbler is STILL the worst Batmobile EVER

  • @Shoknifeman Thanks! I can see why people don't care for it, but I think it all depends on your own definition of what the Batmobile should be. I think all the ones up until now was style first, function second - as great as they all are (Batman 66 and 89, the best ones). But the Tumbler goes well with this Batman universe and goes for the practicality and functionality of being a war vehicle of sorts over just being a slick car with some hidden gadgets. Plus it houses the Bat-pod. Awesome!

  • @happydragonpics -- In the earliest film version of Batman (1940s movie serials), the Batmobile was just an ordinary black sportscoupe.

  • @WytZox1 Exactly, and even the earliest comic book appearances of Batman had him driving a red sedan, of all things. Talk about calling attention to yourself. At least a black car makes a bit more sense. And even though it would be a little boring to depict in a film, that kind of plain vehicle would actually be practical if Batman didn't want to call attention to himself. But the Batmobile, in any form, is too iconic and cool to ignore. Plus, it has all those wonderful toys!

  • @happydragonpics -- Also in those films the Batman actor (or his stunt double) fought the criminals (realistic gangster types, not silly joker, penguin or riddler characters) with judo and jiu jitsiu action rather than the goofy ZAP, POW stuff on the 60s TV series. The actors who played Batman and robin in those serials were more muscular and more convincing than West and Ward ever could be.

  • @WytZox1 Yeah, bizarrely those old serials ignored the colorful comic book arch-villains even though they were still pretty new creations at the time anyway. The serials perfectly captured Batman and Robin from 1940s era comic books, but when comic books were forced by the US Congress to ease up on darkness and violence in the 50s and 60s, West and Ward played the perfect Batman and Robin that intentionally parodied the way B & R were portrayed in comics at that time.

  • @Shoknifeman

Says you. I fucking love the tumbler. Don't you dare try and speak for me.

  • @xalener Actually, I was speaking for myself

  • @Shoknifeman nope best

  • Fantastic!

  • clever!

  • me encanta! la animación es casi como la original pero con el toque en HD, que risas jeje

  • Now THIS animation is cool, updated, more perfected, and really rocks! YOU gave this some serious inspiration, admiration, and perspiration! I applaud you dude!

  • lol!!!!

  • Good job!

  • i think a new version with bane and catwoman in it is in order :P

  • no kidding (dark knight style)

  • Hahahaha wonderful work

  • Q paja!

  • well done, expertly made i am suprised, shocked, and superly amazed at your skillz

  • Great... very very great... jajajajja

  • Muito bom!!

  • This is cool!! Yes! I would have loved to see this as the intro to the "Dark Knight" movie. It would have been a nice nostalgic nod to the past.

  • I really think you should do another one of these spoofs for batman 1989 with Michael Keaton but I don't know what the detail should look like.

  • This is very well done!

  • Favorited!

  • lol that would be the biggest mindfuck if it became an intro to a series

  • That should be the intro for the next movie.

  • I'd love to see this inserted into The Dark Knight for real! Just after the bank robbery would be perfect!

  • @rlough1980 Ha! That actually would work. Like in the old show where they'd usually show the episode's villain committing the crime just before the opening theme

  • @rlough1980 "Meanwhile, in the mob-run bank across town ..."

  • No Bane?

  • @doctorseaweed2 Nope, I did this about a year ago before we knew what Bane looked like. I may do a sequel...

  • @happydragonpics That would be epic, you should. Also have catwoman.

  • @doctorseaweed2 Yeah, looks like I'll have plenty to choose from. Everyone from Joseph Gordon Levitt to Marion Cotillard to Matthew Modine. This movie is going to be HUGE!

  • @happydragonpics One last question. Whats the sequel to this video going to be like and when about will it be ready?

  • @doctorseaweed2 Couldn't tell ya. I'd feel more comfortable doing it after the movie comes out just to make sure I get everybody. So, 8 or 9 months:)

  • nananananananananananana

  • Epic

  • That is amazingly tasteful, especially in 2011. My thumbs are up, as would be anyone's associated with the show. Superb!

  • BOO BOO HISS THIS IS NOT BATMAN BOO NOLAN'S VERSION IS NOT THE BATMAN BOO!

  • Really nice job!

  • :)

  • Very nice. Very impressive.

    Awesome job on the artwork.

I like how Commissioner Gordon replaces Robin.

  • Wow this is great very talented work!

  • pure awesomeness!

  • Pure genius.

  • 16 people murdered Batman's parents!

  • FOCKING GENIOUS!

  • here's a match batman versus the rock ! pick your winner!

  • Einfach nur geil xD

  • i love the old theme

  • nobody will ever write a better Batman theme song

  • Amazing! Looking forward to your next video!

  • Nice work, but thumbs down for having giant annotations over the entire video. Why do people do that?

  • @hitstun The annotations can be turned off by hitting the little text bubble button in the player controls.

  • @happydragonpics Well, yeah, but I shouldn't have to turn your annotations off just to make the video watchable. Actually, you've since then removed the big annoying annotation across the top. I appreciate that you actually made a change in response to feedback, so you've got a thumbs-up from me now.

  • @hitstun Wow, your life is so hard! You have to click a little button. Do you want me to call your mommy for you?

  • @chimaeraproductions If I'm sitting all bundled up on the couch watching my Watch Later queue on my laptop with VGA out to my TV, and I have to get up just to turn off annoying annotations on a video shouldn't have any in the first place, then yes, that's a problem. This goes double if I'm using Boxee and the annotations button is literally unclickable.

  • @hitstun First world problems are so excutiating aren't they?

  • @hitstun Sorry to be rude, truly, but it is a bit a petty, don't you think, to be complaing of something that is a mild inconvenience at best? I just found your initial, and then follow up moan to be really daft.

  • @chimaeraproductions Point taken; certainly first world problems. I just don't understand why video makers like these annoying annotations. It's a minor problem, but it would be solved for everyone by simply not making such annotations in the first place.

  • @hitstun I do agree they are somewhat annoying.

  • That's just too awesomely awesome for words.

  • HOLY SHIT BATMAN!!!!!!

  • Fucking WIN

  • am I the only one who thinks the title is wrong? Shouldn't it be "Dark Knight (Batman 1966 TV Style)?

  • can you say awesome!!

  • You sir are fantastic for making this.

  • You should make one with Burton's Bat.

  • Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb on a boat.

  • Now we need this done with 60s Spiderman.

  • Sweet

  • Dude...awesome.

  • thank you Dorkly

  • yeah...fuck you robin...

  • 60s style can make anything look good....Great job buddy

  • Its the intro youtube deserve but not the one it needs right now!

  • you could do a padory of dark knight rises (once it comes out) but using Batman the Animated Series as the parody material, it would be awesome :D

  • this is a parody,is excellent.why so much bad critics?have fun for forty second and nothing else, they aren't going to make a film with this,is humor.enjoy this

  • Abertura do Batman de 1966 no estilo Cavaleiro das Trevas

  • omg I want a fan edit with this as the intro...

  • Not much of a concept, but very well done.

  • LOL Soooo cooool!!!!

  • Love this!

  • Meh. Only so so

  • batman is the one man who can -n- will beat the undertaker!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA.....COOL.

  • WICKED!

  • You did an excellent job, looking forward to updated version after the dark knight rises comes out next year.

  • @darthauron Yeah, I'm thinking about it. But with all the bootlegged photos we've seen so far, I could almost do one right now.

  • This was great. The only thing is Christian Bale wouldn't be smiling.

  • @Tubernaut HAHAHAHAHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAHHHH LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL! DUDE YOUR SO RIGHT ALE OULD NEVER ACK A SMILE A BATMAN.

  • That was awesome and very creative. Well done.

  • Absolutely wonderful!

  • Really well done!!

  • Awesome

  • I really think it's cool the way you turned this into something for the more modern Batman films. I just LOVE the way you included the characters from Nolan's films in this and the artwork is quite nice.

  • WONDErFUL ! This is extremely clever and funny.

  • This is GREAT. But not quite the same without Robin :*(

PLEASE Nolan. I know you can come up with a clever way to give us Robin

  • @MrCultofPersonality7 Unfortunatly no due to the infamous Batman & Robin.

  • @TheStingOfRadiation Front Row (left to right): Mr. Earle, Falcone, Ra's Al Ghul, Scarecrow Back Row: Joe Chill, Ra's Al Ghul (decoy), Flass

  • @happydragonpics Most impressive. You have an impeccable eye for detail.

  • Now lets see one for The Dark Knight Rises...

  • Sooooo when does the episode come out?

  • @FraracciJ at the same bat-hour in the same bat-channel

  • @sonofabicho hahahahaha good one man

  • that is nice how about making one based on the joel schumacker universe!

  • Somewhere,a modern Batman fanboy is crying.

  • BARMAN xD

  • LOL, The Commish just slid in!

  • We'll see Robin soon in the next further movies, I hope.

  • @ProtoSnake Actually The Dark Knight Rises was announced to be the last movie because Nolan wants to work on his Superman movie now. So no, we'll never see him.

  • @uncut7007 Well that sucks, and I thought that guy would also do a Superman & Batman movie together.

  • @ProtoSnake No, Nolan said he would never put Robin in his movies.

  • @ProtoSnake Hell no. That is one of the reasons why Nolan's movies are so awesome.

  • ha ha ha very good! cool

  • That was awesome!

  • Haaaa!! Dope!!
