Hi I tried to do the systemroot thing at 2:04 but it would not recognize it and when I take off the \a nothing happens. is there another way i can do this, i'm doing this on an old laptop dell inspiron1000 that was given to me and with a dell os cd xp pro sp1a that i found. any help would be great ^_^

I rebooted my Windows XP computer with my factory CDs. They didn't ask me for product key and now my computer is running but with different key. Do I use the same method you provided to fix that?

@The1971angel leave it like that no need to change the keys.Factory CD's don usually need keys.
