  • Watched a couple of his contributions to debates. He's Articulate, Polite & Principled. All positive things in the spin environment parliament has become. I'm not sure I would agree with him on all things however it is reassuring when a politician calls an egg an egg.

  • Generations of his family doing No Manuel work and using Servents .... Has given him a Skinny Body frame LOL just imagine him playing Rugby . oww LOL

  • So posh and sexy!

  • He looks like a 40 year old virgin who is arty farty and I think he is really leading people of somerset on with his dodgy accent. Even Prince Phillip doesn't sound as posh as that.

  • And this guy is my MP. -_-

  • this is the sexiest man in parliament and I say this as a heterosexual male. Go Jacob, kick that chubby flip flopper, kick out the liberal whino-crats and reclaim Great Britain from the Euro-National Socialists.

People should remember that Great Britain has given the world freedom and liberty, our empire exported good government and a sound infrastructure. Kick ass Jacob you sexpot!

  • Mogg you are a twat .

  • What a chap!

  • He's right although, as a public school man myself, I'd say it is grossly unfair that only 8% of the country go to private school, with 50% of university entrants coming from them...

  • So many negative opinions about this erudite, articulate man. It's astonishing that so many people appear to have embraced the cult of mediocrity.

  • What he does not understand is so many of these clever kids in Oxbridge secure their places at birth. One's chances massively increase if you are born into a privileged family that sends you to the best schools and prepares you in every way to secure a place there. Same applies to everything in life. There will always be the smart few that rise to the top no matter their disadvantage - these are the people a country truly needs. Not snotty nosed little shits like Jacob Flees Bog.

  • What a preposterous cunt.

  • @grahamlive yeaaahhhh innit, we wonts sum geez to be chattin' likee uzz innit, get me?

    Fuckin' spanner.

  • @CharlesDilkes Excuse me. It was his politics and his disdainful attitude I was remarking upon. Not his speaking voice. I truly believe he is a preposterous cunt. :)

  • @grahamlive I think you're a preposterous cunt.

  • @grahamlive I bet you don't even know what the mans politics are; he's one of the best orators in the House of Commons.

  • @CharlesDilkes That's as may be. it's not for me to cast judgement upon myself. As for his politics he's a fucking Tory. That's normally enough for me. the fact he's a condescending anti Scottish twat just adds to my disdain for the man. As for being a great orator (which I don't think he is incidentally). Well many have attributed that particular quality to Adolf Hitler and he WAS a preposterous cunt. (I'm not saying Rees-Mogg is like Hitler by the way). Good oratory does not make a good person

  • @grahamlive You're a moron - 'eeee's a Tory ScUM innit, bruz, so heezzz badddd cozz of dat, yeahhh?'

You people are so dense you don't deserve the vote.

H's a fantastic orator, whether you agree with his points or not - Michael Foot was equally great ever though I'm not inclined to his views.

  • @CharlesDilkes I don't agree with you therefore I am a moron. What a bullshit attitude. Look mate the man's a cunt. Just look at the rest of the comments on here. I think you will find you are in the minority. Let me just reiterate, I fucking hate the Tories especially aloof arrogant cunts like Rees-Mogg. Insult me if you want. I don't give a fuck what you think.

  • @grahamlive You deduce the character of man, and the integrity of a man, based solely on his political affiliation; those of your ilk would probably vote for a chimp so long as it had the red rosette on voting day.

Perceptiveness is a minority trait; you can wallow in the imbecility you and others have created for yourselves.

  • @CharlesDilkes Actually I don't vote labour. So don't be so presumptuous.

  • @grahamlive I remember a time, only about half a century or so ago, when Scotland produced resolute conservatives of the highest degree, now the only thing that country produces is wishy-washy, loser socialists who rail against the world and England. Thomas Carlyle would be turning in his grave.

  • THIS is why the whole world thinks we're wankers.

  • I'm a Tory but this bloke needs a multi-dimensional makeover. It's not that he's posh. It's as if he's stepped out of the 50s.

  • "Conservative MP Jacob Rees-Mogg tweeted earlier this week that for his [Edzard Ernst] latest attack on Prince Charles he should be locked up in the Tower of London."

Professor Edzard Ernst denounced King Charles homeopathic quackery detox cure consisting of dandelion and artichoke. For this he should apparently be locked in the tower of London... And here I thought Europe had left the dark ages behind.

  • Image every stereotype of tories and multiply it by 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

  • he is my MP *sigh*

  • Arsehole, but he has a fantastic accent. Good to see someone not hide good speech and trade it in for lower-class crap.

  • typical inbred cretin tory scum

  • He sounds like the right kind of MP.

  • @Fleshious Then you are deluded, fucking troll

  • In fairness, at least he's honest. Unlike David Cameron et al, he's not pretending to be anything other than extremely privileged and posh. People should just be honest with themselves and others.

  • @SkullOfYorick - Posh or not, he's still a fucking prat. The idea that someone like him can be elected MP is nauseating.

  • @Sangrenegra9 He's one of the best orators in the House of Commons.

  • Yep..that's my MP

  • @johnsirin His constituents are wealthy - that's why he won the seat and also why he DIDN'T win the seat in the predominantly working class Central Fife. I'm guessing that canvassing in a Bentley probably didn't help his cause.

  • I can hardly believe that there are still people like this in Britain in the 21st century. I'd love to have him do my voice mail message on my phone.

  • @johnsirin Whether they conceal their privilege or not is irrelevant. It's what they say and do that matters. I find it amazing that people continue to take ANY party policy seriously when it's quite clear that the elites only care about elites. This is a one party system

  • @johnsirin on the contrary, it's the words that come out of his mouth that repulse me so, not the voice that happens to carry them!

  • this guy is a real snob . there is no chance anybody from my area would vote on you speakin like that mr mog go away and wash yer mouth out

  • Out of touch idiot.

  • @johnsirin Perhaps you missed his performance at PMQs today, he did a wonderful impression of a swivel eyed lunatic.

  • So fricking posh. The way he just barely utters universitays is hilarious.

  • @InstinctualJealousy That is just the way how that word is pronounced in England. Nothing to do with being "posh" or a "toff".

  • @AlexGabrielYT. I know that all Oxbridge graduates are not from public schools. I used to work with someone who went to Cambridge and he was from the North and had a working class background.

Oxbridge has a significant percentage of state school graduates it also has public school representation out of all proportion to the general population. It would be wrong to think that Jacob represents all Oxbridge graduates, for he does not.

However he does represent his class well, the tosser!

  • This useless cunt is about as relevant to normal peoples lives as he is to do a shift

down a Coal Mine (even though his "Chums" closed them all).Bastards like him are

a relic from the class ridden past, the trouble is they just will not lie down. Now we have to deal with the worst government since records began. This shit-Head just happens to be a part of it, of course God help this Country.

  • Love this guy. Of course, I would be repulsed if I was from the UK, but as he's not my problem, he's hilarious to me.

  • A cunt of the highest degree.

  • I hope he will appear on Question Time soon.

  • god help us

  • I went to Cambridge, from a comprehensive school; I reject the apparent implication here that Tabs all turn out like Jacob. How on earth people could vote for someone like this staggers me. I can only assume the Labour party there were just so stunned they couldn't think of a compelling case against him other than 'THIS is the Tory candidate. This guy. Here.'

  • That in truth Faboba was the Labour approach. That and a link on the Labour candidates website to the rees mogg blogg. A blogg site which is in fact a wonderful spoof site of a real Tory MP by University of Bath student Hadleigh Roberts. Amazing they haven't forced him to close it yet. Long may it live and report. Oh and here's a real story. Asked if it was wise to travel by Mercedes in a Labour area - Wrekin 2001- he said: I thought Id better not bring the Bentley

  • So the people of North Somerset have voted the part inspiration for 'tory boy' to be their MP. Oh dear. That said the truth is that Britian is at it's core a conserative country and you have been toying with Mr Clegg haven't you. Well North Somerset the following is a quote from Moggies Blogg

'Moreover, after 5 attempts, I am finally the Member of Parliament for somewhere or other.'

Shame on you North Somerset for your lack of courage

  • @BlooJoose Youre talking about the constituency of North East Somerset, don't associate him with North Somerset. Lol we have to have that tory nob Liam Fox instead

  • Comment removed

  • Fuck, can't belive this twat got in in my consituency. People are voting nationally clearly cos if they knew anything about this fool con's would not get votes

  • What a chinless nob

  • Labour should use this in their party political broadcasts.

  • Is this genuine? he's not a satirical personification of the average stereotyped tory? Blimey.

  • what a complete and utter fucking tool.

  • gaaa we're potted plants are we ..wow he may have had a public school education but they certainly didnt teach him manners

  • He'd find it easier to speak if he had the rod surgically removed from his posterior!

  • He'd probably find it easier to speak if he pulled the rod out of his arse!

  • Watch the old expenses when elected Jacob,

dont be like dad and have to cancel a nice little earner.Res Ipse Loquitor.

  • The points he makes are fair ones - why discriminate against the brightest people in the country simply because they went to Oxbridge?

  • @ScourgeOfGodUK ..Not at all Scourge. People discriminate on the Tories because they are theiving, elitist biased SOAB's. Look at ALL of their policies (or should i say NON POLICIES) inheritance tax, married persons tax breaks, scrapping the 50P tax rate, every single one of those polciies are there to put money in the pockets of the richest of the nation. NEWSFLASH. George Orwell went to Eton but grew up into one of the finest supporters of the left this nations known.

  • @ScourgeOfGodUK So, its not anything to do with where he was educated, its all about how rubbish his/SCAMerons political beliefs are and how idiotic their non policies are in as much as they will do nothing but opress the majority and support the few. Now explain THAT off as discrimination.

  • @LCStreetPhotographer Well, you're clearly not biased at all. The Conservative economic policies are about rewarding the diligent over the idle, cutting the bloated public sector, cutting Labours horrific debt (and the deficit thats adding to it), making benefits a safety net rather than a way of life, and encouraging business and investment through lower taxes FOR ALL. How is this not fair? On the other hand, Labour insist on more waste and bitter, resentful taxes on success.

  • @ScourgeOfGodUK Rewarding the dilligent? So by that you mean reward the ALREADY rich and loaded. WHY are they giving millions to the nations richest 3000 estates? Is it priority to slash spending savagely which WILL,not might.but WILL cause a double dip recession.History has proven that you need to INCREASE SPENDING to recover, and then pay back your national debt/offset and by making his cuts to appease Bankers and the markets is LISTENING TO THE PEOPLE WHO CAUSED THIS GLOBAL RECCESSION.

  • @LCStreetPhotographer You're acting as if the Tories are giving extra money to the rich, when in fact all they're doing is taxing EVERYONE less. When will you socialists understand that you don't multiply wealth by dividing it? Massive redistribution of wealth from the rich to the poor may sound like a good idea, but in reality it just kicks the guts out of the private sector and puts dampeners on economic growth.

  • @LCStreetPhotographer Furthermore, you must be mad if you think that cutting the (hugely bloated and wasteful) public sector is going to cause a double-dip recession - Brown seems to think that the 'economy' and the 'public sector' are the same thing. But in fact the more Brown taxes and the more he wastes on quangos and bureaucracy the less the taxpayer has to spend. It is more state taxing that will really cause economic paralysis.

  • @ScourgeOfGodUK SCOURGE..dont THINK it will cause double dip recession..i KNOW it will. Isnt just me who KNOWS IT..Stiglitz..ya know the guy..Nobel Prize Winning Economist?Yeah..the guy who has been proclaimed the top and most respected economist on growth pratice and growth theory has STATED IT AS BEING FACT. USA, Japan, Italy, Germany, France..have national debts higher than ours and weaker growth after the recession yet are commited to increased spending. As Brown reccomended.

  • @ScourgeOfGodUK Go ahead...argue with the worlds top 67 Economists that slate SCameron on his and Osbourne-clueless on their BIG idea's to cut spending. After all, they are doing so on the reccomendation of their rich banker and market leading buddy's...appropriate isnt it that..they were the VERY PEOPLE WHO PRECIPITATED/CAUSE THIS GLOBAL RECESSION.

  • @ScourgeOfGodUK He is making changes to Inheritance Tax benefitting HIMSELF and several other Tory high ranks approx 7.1 million overall. Oh yeah he is certainly rewarding his and his own little clique for their DILLIGENCE. SIR Alan Sugar certainly isnt IDLE and guess what, he is backing Labour for the work they have done to increase entrepeneurial spirit. There have been more small business set up since 1997 than had been set up for the previous 30 years. Wake up and GET REAL

  • @LCStreetPhotographer You celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit and its proliferation and yet you deplore the Tories for wishing to maintain the fruits of that spirit (wealth) within the family untaxed. Oh dear, how hypocritical you are: think critically, friend.

  • @LCStreetPhotographer Inheritance tax is another tax on success - imagine it, your parents have worked bloody hard all their lives and now they're dead the state steals large amounts of their money? How is that fair?! And I did laugh at the Sugar reference - I think you'll find that Lord Sugar of Clapton has done very well for himself out of this Labour government, no wonder he's backing them!

  • @ScourgeOfGodUK At present inheritance tax affects ..is it..those who inherit £350,000 or more? How many people are likely to inherit that amount....realistically Scourge?? haha....are we seeing a pattern here... SCameron wants to raise that figure to a million or more..why? Because THOSE are the kinds of amounts HIS group of people are likely to inherit. He wants the amount you can inherit before paying inheritance tax raised so that his lot wont have to pay it. Simple enough for you?

  • @ScourgeOfGodUK No wonder tax dodgers like CASHCroft are backin CONservative.

  • Jesus H God. The tories are totally unrepresentative of the people of the UK. Oxbridge is world class. But dear Jacob what percentage of the UK populace go to these Universities? In order for the House to be representative of the UK a majority of MPs should have gone to the local comp and left with a few A levels and not gone to University. Unlike the tories brimming with oxbridge educated public school tosspots like our pal Jacob and his sister with the common or garden moniker of Annunziata!

  • Annunziata may have a name from a monty python sketch but she is pretty sound, and quite pleasing to the eye!

  • Pleasing to the eye?! Bleurgh! She is a tory tosser just like her brother and father. God help us if these mad poshos get in!

  • @ukstreetracer She is in my constituency and its a terrible shame she is taken seriously.

  • @densaner77 So you want the House of Commons to be filled with mediocre working class yobbos? No thanks.

  • @djsmurfie No I want the House of Commons to be filled with people from a variety of backgrounds. The trouble with modern politics is that a lot of politicians have litlle,or in Jacob's case no understanding of ordinary people's lives.

Working class yobbos? No. Upper class tossers? No.

  • @densaner77 What do you want him to 'understand'? How to lay a brick? Or fix a roof? Worthy professions in their own right I'm sure, but not skills required by a statesman. Punctuation isn't a crime, you know; thank God we select only the cream of society: let us avoid yobbos such as yourself.

  • @djsmurfie (_|_) (-.-) (_|_)

  • @densaner77 Typical yobbo.

  • @djsmurfie (_|_) (-.-) (_|_) :p

  • @djsmurfie So you want the house of commons to be filled with elitist money grabbing (for their own ilk and sod everyone else) Snobs? Such as Scameron?? and co? No Thanks

  • @LCStreetPhotographer Rather that than working class morons.

  • @djsmurfie So you mean rather than 90% of the British public? Good call. Talking of Morons cant wait to see SCameron tell more lies at the next debate. Anymore 40 year old Black men who have served 30 years in the Royal Navy going to get a mention DAVE??hang on...he's 40 and served in the RN for 30 years? So he joined when he was 10.OK.

Also i believe Humberside Police and the Met have made DAVE look like a bit of a prick after they exposed his lies..over the Humberside Lexus and Met staffing.

  • @LCStreetPhotographer errrrrrrrr yeah, obviously. 90% of the British public are thick as shit.

  • @densaner77 No, the leaders of the country should be the most capable, the most intelligent. What's the point in electing dunces? You don't have to be of a particular background to represent it well.

  • @UnOxonien You must be joking. We have been electing dunces in this country since at least 1832. Most of them went to public schools and only gain office because of their backgrounds. If you think otherwise you are a dunce.

Wake up and smell the coffee. If Dave wins we will have the posh boys back. The poshest Government since Alec Douglas Home in 1963.

  • @densaner77 well yeah, but if the majority of MPs were thick shits who dropped out of the local 'comp' with no real qualifications then the country would undoubtedly run itself into a hole very quickly. shortly after everyone's tax money was used to create wayne rooney statues and subsidise the purchase of cheap vodka.

  • @ilove4chanlolol. Yeah and the country is in great shape after being run by a bunch of "highly educated" people, isn't it?

  • @densaner77 you mean labour? they represent the ignorant mcdonalds-eaters, that'y why they fucked up. they reflect the mentality of their electorate

  • Comment removed

  • What an anachronism. He seems to want to go back to times of having an elit ruling class.

  • 95% maybe white but sure as hell 95% of people are not norman aristocrats! XD

  • Watching this from the United States... this is hysterical. It's not real, is it? Where can I see more of this sitcom? This dude cracks me up. The Brits really get how to do satire.

  • @platypus0110

He's a Member of Parliament now.

  • @platypus0110 People like this are part of the reason satire thrives in Britain

  • Lovely to hear a genuine Somerset accent.aarrrrh dere be e wantin ta be a politic man.

  • It's obvious just listening to this man that he will be as successful in politics as his father.

  • good grief

  • what a tosser
