After you do a block, if you press BACK and circle you'll do 2 Vacuum Waves. Four if you're in EX-Mode.

It's not really hard, practice timing. However, if it lags on Ad-Hoc that may be difficult.

why'd you hold the guard even after you blocked? couldn't you have countered? or can ExDeath counter long afterward?

He can counter long after ward. Of course he was waiting for me to get in range before he countered.

As this was also my first time fighting Golbez with ExDeath, after the first Glare Hand I thought I could block the Second Glare Hand also.
But as Icyie says, I can counter LONG After the original hit. That's the danger off ExDeath, if you run away, you'll be hit by Vacuum Wave or Grand Cross. Stay to close, and it's a Almagest or Sword's Dance (Or Hurricane...)

Does anyone know if it's faster to teleport to the EX Core or Air Dash towards it? 0:47 got me wondering.

Faster to Air Dash. Mainly because Teleport may not get you to the EX-Core at all.
