hey i was wondering if i have an 05 6.0 would the o3 turbo just bolt up and fit in my 05? cause i love the sound and which is a better turbo? like i want to get that crazy sound and did it need anything special to put on the 03 turbo. if so please reply thanks. ps i subscribed you have one sick truck

@SICKSOJOE But the oil feed line will fit straight across? I have an 03 turbo + pedestal coming in the mail. I just want to have everything ready to swap it out.

@LosBanosF250 yes the oil feed will fit, i recommend using the updated oil feed ford sells, its a solid feed line with no flex in it. im pretty sure the oil drain is the same.

@rcrocker02 its just a VGT turbo. makes the truck have a lot more turbo whistle at idle and under hard accleration

@stuntrider15 that is incorrect that isn't the big change or fuss over the 03 turbo... The 03 turbo sounds the way it does because it has 12 fins on the turbo opposed to the 10 they now have post 03... its makes the turbo whistle less.. So its still a VGT turbo.. Varible geometric turbo...

@SomethingUnlikely 03 and early 04 turbochargers have a larger diameter 10 blade turbine wheel. the size and shape of the vanes are also different. the 04.5 to 07s have a 13 blade turbine wheel.
