i chose alienware aurura or what ever its called and i got it to 16GB of ram, blue-ray burner, 4.1 GHz with Intel i7 processor, and and NVIDA GeForce 1 GB graphics card.

i think right now is buying computer better than building by ur self because most of this stores return policy are bad so some thing happen after three years u will stuck if u buy brand like dell or hp they will take it back might be give u other one or they will fix it, my last computer 5 years i used my Dell computer i was try to doing something on mother board its burned. i didn't even take my service plan just biased on costumer satisfaction they give me a brand new computer

i got the Alienware Aurora r3 on sale for $999, running intel core i7 sandy bridge, 6gb ram, gts 450 1.5gb. I upgraded the hdd to ssd, change to card to gtx 580, rams to G-skill ripjaws 1600. the price for my built comes out about $1600, if you built one or on any websites with these specs it would comes out in the $1700,now if Alienware sells my built it would be in the $2500 range.

Try to be a little bit more intelligent when you assume you can make something better than this. Know that you're assuming based simply on performance that you can make something better. Although true, there are other unseen variables that make this better than whatever system you randoms think you can make. Things like heat control, hardware life time and of course the presenation.
