ROM is the best ftp out there, but its still pretty bad, loads of glitches, tones of server lag issues, the difference in content is so far apart its ridiculous to progress with out spending money. if you do spend money how ever, your looking at paying 10 times more than what you would for a better made subscription game. hell, i only created a youtube account to report hackers/cheaters in the game because the GM's are so damn lazy and uncaring you have to do their job for them

tbh, there isnt a single decent P2P on the market at the moment. WoW has long since been gayified by blizzard, AOC has tits but no content, AION is a hardcore asian buttfuck, STO... is STO... , and everything else isnt even worth mentioning.
of other genres there are a few decent titles out but PC gaming seems to have hit a slump.
Hey c'mon Runes of Magic doesnt deserves a 5/10. You cant say if a mmorpg is good or bad by just playing it 1 or 2 hours. And is not the problem your computer cant run it. I completely agree with your review. I don't understand how the people that continue to play it can stand the controls. The movement is extremely stiff, commands are unresponsive, and the monster don't seem to "move", they kind of just do an animation and slide across the ground. I guess I've spoiled myself with WoW, but I'm done with that now that Blizzard is going to ruin privacy with the Real ID thing. Sure, it's optional now, but so was battle.net merging before.
@Glacius147 exactly, its like the only games that got a good hand on fluent controls were games like WoW (I havent tried Everquest but Im assuming its in a similar "fluent control" situation as well). Stiff control can turn any gamer off to a game lol; and you make a good point with the Real ID thing, its pretty much pointless, other than the fact that you can chat with your buddy while he's playing Starcraft and your playing Diablo or WoW or whatever lol.

This is the worst review I've ever seen. All you talk about is poor performance. Your computer is obviously crap. It couldn't even handle making this low res video you posted. I've never played the game and I can tell the problems you complain about are on your end.
I'm still installing the game and I'm baffled by how long it takes. It's just wave after wave of the install screen completing the download bar and then re-opening again with another.

Well, the funny thing is; WoW plays fluently on my PC. It doesn't lag and doesn't go slow, this game (which is obviously more ugly) is going slow and lags alot. That is a problem within the game. Plus I can see under the ground, like some kind of diglett ;(.
Everyone I know switched to ROM from wow, None of us have lag, none of us have had mobs disappear. None of us have the UI lag. It responds and plays 100% just as well as wow.
For me and all my friends we get the fun of wow for free, and it's not all normalized and catered to babies like wow.

I dunno what you were having trouble with I have everything on max and have no lag . They were having problems with lag but that was during open beta. My pc specs are like 8 gigs of ram with a 1gb video card and like intel ext 3.0 thou. Only really problem I have is getting disconnected once awhile.

How you have a 2 GHz processor but only 448 MB RAM perplexes me. No, unfortunately you wouldn't be able to run the game, BUT thankfully a 1gb RAM upgrade doesn't cost too much money.
if you go on the website, you can find the system requirements you need to play the game. If you do, however, get the right stuff, do check it out if you cant get WoW or Guild Wars or something of that effect. Thanks for the comment :)

The only lag is noticable in big cities or 36 man raids.

i wanted to download this game but my i think my PC wont come close to handling it do you think i could be able to play it here are some of my specs:
System Windows XP Service Pack 3
Compaq Presario
AMD Sempron 3000+
2.00 GHz
448 MB of RAM
its suppose to be 512MB of RAM but i have no idea why its so low (i know its a crap computer but i am xbox 360 gamer i cant afford to upgrade)

How you have a 2 GHz processor but only 448 MB RAM perplexes me. No, unfortunately you wouldn't be able to run the game, BUT thankfully a 1gb RAM upgrade doesn't cost too much money.
if you go on the website, you can find the system requirements you need to play the game. If you do, however, get the right stuff, do check it out if you cant get WoW or Guild Wars or something of that effect. Thanks for the comment :)

i think its because my system is based on a shared memory architecture which means i think my graphics card is taking some of that memory idk i think but thanks anyway

you can do it but you have to change the games settings to as low ass possible trust me its still all good

i tried running this game but everytime i launch it my system automatically restarts i dont think my system can handle it also when i change the game settings and apply them they dont stay the same

wrong version then its just uncompatable try out some of the others from the site
