@poppopken Check Tom Jones songs on song lyrics.com.-under the tag "The Night Was Made For Love". I think this should help. If not, holla and I'll research it for you.
I can remember this song. It was a great song, and it did not chart but so much energy in that song. This record was released the day before my 7th birthday!!!
The songs have identical music tracks. They sound typical of motowne singles released during 1963 & early 1964, with the uptempo beat and hand clapping
thanks wayne

Is this 45 rpm version at a faster tempo than other formats or is it me? This sounds much faster than the version I downloaded from I-Tunes.

Smokey's hand is all over this production. What a great tune.

One of my very first 45rpm purchases...and the flip-side "Goddess Of Love" was worn out before this side!

I love this song. Have it on the original. This music gets you doing and the nations soul really sang then!

Very nice song and I liked it. Those real Marvelettes ( 4 beautiful black girls ) were the best. Thank you for putting this up.

...but how could you dance to it? I aksed my sister that, and she had no clue, but she said she and her friends managed to make it work.

Maybe they did the Monkee, that was a dance step of the era. and the song does have a beat like Mickey's Monkey
