Memories. I went to that Jr high back in 1972 and remember swimming in that river with our class. We went down the damn there and there was always somone going in it on the last days of school before summer break. Great times! I now live in Texas. So this was nice to see
I am freezing just looking at that river...lol . I lived there for three years and that foot bridge, Curwood castle and the river were my favorite places to go when I was needing serenity. Have they finished the art center? I have lived away in NC for 2 years now. maybe moving back soon,,,If I stock up on warm clothing.
Hello Bedbug1968 - Thanks for the good question. The answer is no: We do not have salmon here, but we do have bass, blue gill, pike, trout, catfish, turtles, frogs, lots of deer, lots to do, and happy people and pretty girls!
i am living in curwood right now i love this place i moved here like 3 years ago and my house is very very very very close to this river =) its white house.
Hey Goodman, thanks so much for the wonderful comments. I went to that same junior high school, too, and loved every minute of it. I hope you do make it back to Owosso!

Hey Spartan - yes, the Curwood Festival is great. This is a great place to live, and the Curwood Festival is one of the prime times to be here.
