@adiomang If your running the stock sequential set up. Check the the actuators that connect connect to the turbos, theres 3 al together. It happend to me a couple times and I didn't notice till I did my brakes recently. It makes a HUGE difference.(of coursethe first turbo wasn't spooling, HA. And the funny things is a week before i found this out I still got the jump on 2010 Skyline..... Rotory What!
@GOMBPRODUXIONS I know! when the turbos kick in.... my god.... back seat room in the touring... well... none... it has about 2 inches when the seat is all the way back... but worth every second being in the back... and front...

nice car. i want one but i cant afford it and i can't drive stick lol. maybe some day though. some people want expensive exotic cars but this is my dream car.
omg, how can you like cars not like sticks? you get a complete feel for how to control a car with the manual. auto makes me feel like im drivin my grandmas car..
I pay about $2.00 a gal. And yea it can get up there whenever I'm having fun in places like Deals Gap, but on the interstate I get 27mpg so it's not too bad.
1. For the level of performance that this car is truly at, you shouldn't care too much about fuel costs anyways.
2. If you don't think you even afford fuel for the car, you shouldn't buy it.
3. The fuel costs really aren't that bad. My 92 FD gets 375 km to 60 liters of fuel and I'm on the gas pedal alot. Considering the level of performance this car is at, that is really not bad. I could easily get 500 km to a tank if I tried. But that would mean driving "normally"...
Yea, it's a Start Engine button. Turning the key wont start the motor any more. I'll one day completely remove that and get a wireless transmiter like the Vetts have.
there is a screw on your upper intake manifold right by the throttle cable turn it eaither way to adjust your idle. i forget which way to turn it but play with it and after each turn pump the gas to set the throttle. but do this when the car is fully warm. it will work better. lmk if this helped.
Mine idles at 800. I had to use the idler screw on the UIM to adjust it some. If you are still too high, then check for vaccume leaks as Shazmybot said and also check your settings on the PowerFC (if you have one).
nice ride..don't have that many keys on your keychain..theres a good chance you'll wear down the bearings inside (just saying cause I don't want you to have to pay for something that could be avoided..then you can buy new perfoormance stuff for your ride
Naw, I want to stay sequential. I'm more interested in playing in the twisties then I am 0-60, or 1/8 and 1/4 miles. And honestly, if someone (and there will be) who's faster then me because they have a sigle... that's fine with me.
The piston engine goes boing boing boing,The rotary engine goes hmmmmmmm....

WRONG.
RX7s came twin turbo from the factory.
NO supercharger application exists for this car.
The guy is clearly showing his problem that his secondary turbo is not boosting at all.
rotor13 2 years ago
im having the same problem but with my primary, for me i believe its a vacuum leak but i cant locate it
adiomang 2 years ago
I've checked all the vac lines and even simplified them. it's not a vaccum leak unfortunatly.

i know mines all the way lose, so theres no tension on the throttle cable
cody1413 3 years ago
Make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks. That's usually a good cause of a bad idle.
