  • "questions of B flat, science and F chord, dont speak as F add nine as my heart..." ;)

  • youtube search - coldlay scientist guitar tutorial

    first link some marty lesson

second link - justin sandercoe ...

Oh justin s"SIR" has made a lesson for this one also ...great.......click ..

  • I don't understand the D Power chord bit. What happens to the A-String in that case, my chord sounds a bit distorted, like I'm muting too many strings. Could you gimme the tabs for that chord please?

  • @vibrax7795 ultimate guitar version six is the same as justin teaches

  • this is brilliant, you make it so easy to learn, cheers buddy :)

  • Awesome, Thank you

  • thanks so much you made it incredibly simple!

  • I was trying to play along but couldnt stop laughing. Awesome tutorial. Sounds awesome.

  • Thank you so much, beginner here...and this is quite the interesting piece. Great to know I can actually play the chords...Very fun, thanks again.

  • Awesome lesson, keep up the good work !!

  • "the ethicist" T-shirt hahahahhaa

  • Hey I have a question.. In this song, in the F chord and the F@9 chord (or somethin), the 1st finger presses which all strings? Please reply Justin..

  • thanks for this lesson Justin...... Love the way you taught this......

    :)

  • btw substituting chord names for parts the lyrics was kinda funny/weird xD

  • Awesome tutorial dude! Thanks! :)

  • thanks for helping to make this song a bit easier to play.. cheers :)

  • love the way you name the chords while youre singing, 'chasing the F chord' etc, made me laugh:) thanks for the lesson, keep up the good work!

  • 'questions of B flat, science and F chord..' brilliant!

  • how do you do that very last part that sounds like a bear?

  • The original tune is not in standard concert pitch! It is slightly higher than the standard A=440 Hz

  • thats a F power chord, not Fadd9...

  • @miktu That F chord is not a power chord. But it's not Fadd9 either. Why? In order, the notes being played are F, C, F, G, C, F. That makes up the formula 1-5-9 of the major scale. Since there is no 3rd, this chord is neither major or minor. But the presence of the 9th makes it a sus2.

  • I'm too lazy to tune guitar, lol

  • Thank you so much!!! This is a great tutoria!!!

  • VERY COLD PLAY!!!!! CONGRATS!!! FROM CANADA!!

  • Dude you have the best and MOST accurate chords. i love u. no capo ;D

  • AMAZING...I HAve Been Searching for The Best Version...I think I have it now...:D

  • i didn't know he could sing too ! amazingly talented guy :)

  • Please, please teach private universe - crowded house!

    Please?

  • Brilliant lesson! Wish I could sing like you though man :/

  • Thank you Justing! It's so easy to learn with you!

  • can't you break the string if you tune it UP like that? :(

  • @SkateTeamGKS No, that might happen if you tune it up extremely. It'll be fine for a half step though =)

  • just great.....ur awsome

  • "No, my prostitute profits are indeed a virus, but they don't want to G their first string."

    O.O

That's what I got with the auto transcribe CC. And a whole lot of "Nazi" lol

  • Can someone please tell me what tuning is it? pleaseeeeeee

  • @arthedevil EADGCF he tells you man and its on its site did you even watch the video?

  • love the way you teach, thanks man

  • thanks man !

  • amazing tutorial

  • is this standard tuning??

  • Changing the tune corresponds to playing the first fret for the 1st and 2nd strings all the time. well it's obvious but if any of you guys don't wanna change the tune you can just play Dm/Bb/F/ F* where F* is -1 -1 -0 -3 -3 -1 While playing F and F* , play the root note with thumb And there is a G chord that you can play in a similar fashion with F* like the following -1 -1 -0 -2 -3 -3 This is how I play. If you have time to change the tune then justin's way is easier to play though.

btw, could you do a lesson on Swallowed in the Sea by Coldplay?

  • yes, post chords!

  • Awesome Justin, and thanks for all your work.

  • can some write out the chords!

  • @deehzy10

    Dm x75500

    Bb 688700

    F 133200

    Fadd9 133000

    C/G 332000

  • great man:)

  • @johmar5 The envy kills!

  • @johmar5 C sus 4 over G means 332000 on that tuning since f is already added in the tuning and g is the root note on which you start the chord

  • @muxammle what???

  • @johmar5 the chord at 6:38 is C/Gsus4 which means 3 fret on low E 3 fret on A 2 fret on D and open GCF strings ..

  • @muxammle well duh.. i know what chord it is. HE points fuck you.

  • @johmar5 hahaha .. lol my bad .. i never saw his finger :D .. silly me i thought you were asking the chords

  • This video helped me a lot :)

  • 20 people dont know how lovely they aaarrreee

  • @andrewoldacre thats more of a complement LOL

  • thank you so much man! you are lke the only person on youtube tha can teach this song the correct way :)

  • wouldn't that actually be an Fsus2 rather than Fadd9 because u remove the 3rd?

  • hey Justin, have you been on a skiing holiday ?

  • I would really want to know how many strums are on which chord in chorus and verse.

    THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

  • awesome lesson!

  • you probably play this better than any other tutorial on youtube.

  • INTERESTING CHORDS.! WOW... THANKS FOR THE CLASS!

  • IMO instead of tuning for the 4th. you can capo the first fret and when playing F, play E and F9 play Em(it plays Ab instead G). i think it can be used instead of tuning normal and forth all the time.

  • Justin I adore all your tutorials and this is no exception! you do what few teachers do - point out which strings your fingers are on and when fingers are redundant etc. Also I love the way you sing the chords with the lyrics, 'cos as well as cheering up my evening by making me laugh like an idiot, it's also a really good way of remembering the chord order and names. Now I'll just have to make sure that, when I play this to someone, I don't sing the chords by accident! hehehe.

  • do you know what tuning thr song Trouble is in? I just got a request for that from my daughter lol :)

  • @kremez now you got it! Emotions are for homos

  • @markfindlay052 emotions are natural for anyone. straight, gay, or bi. but elaborate on ur claim, cuz i dont understand where ur coming from.

  • @kremez failing to understand simple concepts are also traits of a fag. Fag.

  • @markfindlay052 lol thats not a simple concept...well maybe in ur own little idiotic world it is xD but yeah. if u say emotions are for homos, then do straight people have no emotions? cuz u specifically said emotions are for homos. i mean if u dont have emotions then i feel sad for u. and no need to call me fag, i never called u anything. but im 100% straight so yeah =] but as for u...ur 100% BIIIIIIIIIIITCH, get off my jock. and if u reply to me u must really love me hahaha

  • @kremez marry me. fag.

  • @markfindlay052 ur a fucking douche bag there's nothing wrong with singing to a girl u love, it just shows that u love her enough to take some time and do something for her. Don't hate on ppl just cuz u can't love, he's not a fag, but YOU are a very close minded naive asshole :)

  • @devons2gda you wear a wig don't you? finally his girlfriend speaks up! Don't worry im Canadian, im cool with fags. Fag.
