Nerd warning: This video does NOT address the recent Triceratops controversy, still unresolved. The dino in this video is the truly did-not-exist Brontosaurus. Just in case anyone is disappointed by the YouTube description. But as an added bonus, Pluto is joined by the lovely Venus in the solar system category.
I'm told minor text fixes (Brontosaurus vs. "Triceratops" in the description, Catalano vs. "Catallano" in the title) are coming. Overall, slick job by Ignite & crew on the @FrankCatalano talk.
The thing that happened with the Brontasaurus bones: getting the wrong head and such is the same thing that happened with all the evolutionary ladder figures. They were discovered to be some bones of pigs and some bones of apes put together. So evolution of man from monkey has no scientific proof whatsoever. Turns out we've always been human.
@kenny10100 even sauropods were related to birds (pneumatic bones and avian hip configuration) ^_^ therapsids and saurians diverged before the pneumatic bones but after egg protein modifications which is why platypi have avian genes ;D
